About this deal

So I can assess the fragrance itself as positive throughout. But I find these obvious quality problems from batch to batch unspeakable. Smaller deviations are known. And so are reformulations. But I can't understand the fluctuations that are thrown at the market here. Can and should something like this be included in the overall evaluation? I think so. If I have to test three bottles to get "the right" scent, I don't understand anymore. Released in 2003, Montblanc Individuel has been doing the rounds for some time now. It was developed by Pierre Bourdon, the nose of classics such as Davidoff Cool Water.

Such a fragrance I a YouTuber Nachgekauft have, and immediately at the first sniff knew, "Hey wow,.... there's really something to it!!! The is really special!" As the heart notes fade, an overtly sandalwood scent emerges to take centre stage. This is supported by a lighthearted white musk note and an unconventional raspberry note. The resulting bouquet is unusual but otherwise pleasant. However, I did not care anyway, because Individual smells more interesting for me, it just moves more in me. Even if it is something more chemical / artificial, - or maybe just because of it? My beginner's nose recognizes at the beginning a beautiful interplay of bergamot, juniper berry and washing powder, whereby the latter is discreet and hardly disturbing. I still find Individuel is really unique, almost a kind of highlight from the house, it is olfactory a bit like the golden ratio of this fragrance for me.And in sum smells Individuel somehow so typically masculine-Cologne artig, so it just feels very much like a confident, sexy signature fragrance. Over a longer period of time I thought that it is an homage or copy of Creed's Original Santal, which also imposes itself on you if you had to guess it only by smell, since Original Santal smells somehow more natural and a bit higher quality. So the name is 100% accurate for me. The flacon shapely, clear, and yet practical, - you just like to take him in hand!

Similarly, it’s hard to put a finger on a particular age range that is best suited to this fragrance. The budget and aspirational aspect of the fragrance may make it an attractive choice for younger men in their teens and twenties. However, the sandalwood accord would be more adapted to older men in their thirties or older. I really wanted to test this fragrance, because various perfume lovers talked about this fragrance. And expensive he is also not. With a tableau of notes ranging from spicy to aromatic with a number of fruity notes on the way, Individuel is certainly a mixed bag. However, its overarching sandalwood accord, which we’ll talk about later, brings it into the woody family. I would say the raspberry plays a very central role, around which everything revolves. It is surrounded by sweet, floral, woody, and spicy notes, but there are so many and different that it is really hard for me to smell them out individually.

Presentation and Value For Money

Hui... so with this list of notes, as long as the Old Testament, this is really a challenge to describe it! :D But what I have left is the catch phrase that I always think of when I read "Montblanc Individuel".

I think it is a perfume suitable for everyday use for everyone who likes clean, fresh, but also delicious fragrances! The sweet and fresh fruity notes make a unique contrast against the sandalwood and musky warmth, which is certainly one to try. Individuel’s Lifecycle For instance, the raspberry note in the base was somewhat surprising and quite refreshing. Usually, fruity notes tend to be featured in the head or the heart rather than the base. Otherwise, Individuel is a linear trip of sequential notes. Wake & Strength Of Individuel In my opinion, the fragrance is accompanied throughout by an artificial nuance, which does not harm the overall work! However, the opposition find this fragrance to be overtly synthetic and struggle to enjoy it. Many find it very cheap in this respect and a general disappointment. One of the most polarising aspects of Individuel is found during testing with other people. There are two clear and distinctive camps with regards to this fragrance. The first consists of people who really like the fragrance. Furthermore, they find it comforting to wear and tend to liken it to fabric softener. An enormously popular fragrance among enthusiasts, Montblanc Individuel is often featured as an excellent affordable men’s cologne. However, how well will it stand up against the Bespoke Unit Fragrance Formula? Fruity and sweet and very raspberry. And yet there is also a minty freshness that distantly reminds me of Versaces Eros. There in combination with the apple, here with the raspberry. In terms of content, however, this works almost identically. In general, I see strong parallels to Eros in the whole style. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes more floral, but also more woody at the same time, before entering the vanilla-tonka base. The sweet fruity berry note lingers in a weakened form until the end. All in all, however, the course in practice seems much more linear than the list of ingredients would suggest. However, in recent years it caused a stir and gained traction within the fragrance community. Today, it is seen as one of the best affordable fragrances for small budgets and is regularly recommended by other bloggers.

Finally, Individuel features classic properties that make it a generally masculine fragrance. It’s generally strong but somewhat subdued by its fabric softener association. Presentation and Value For Money Anyway I understand it, because even if it is very timeless, fragrances like Explorer, or Legend are simply more modern, and "do" what similar. But are somewhat easier to grasp in their DNA, for the masses. Clone or no clone, that's the question. No, not really. It's definitely not a clone. Nevertheless, I can understand the association well - Individuel immediately reminds me of Joop Homme. However, in the form of a modernized update. Personally, I still do not think much of this fragrance. He has nothing special for me and smells somehow like Hubba Hubba. I like Hubba Hubba, but do not want to smell like it. A fragrance you can wear when you do not know what you could wear.So a fragrance where you are constantly asked what the good, with nervousness in the voice of the counterpart, it would be but also like so individual. ;D In this respect, it’s not a particularly seductive fragrance but something that’s comfortable and reassuring to wear. So it would be unlikely used for formal or special occasions. Individuel opens up with a spicy cinnamon note, with just a hint of lavender and fruit behind it. The fragrance then dives head first into a creamy raspberry smell for the remainder of the fragrance. It's a fairly linear smell to my nose. It's very clean, fruity, and inoffensive. Combined with its musky and spicy notes, this makes it an overall Woody Oriental Amber fragrance. Head Notes
