About this deal

This was interesting and a lighter read for me that I still enjoyed because of the resilience and triumph over adversity. The strong focus on telling the story rather than going into a full explanation or degree of depths of events was evident yet again in this release. By the time he met Fabienne in Paris in 1970, he was making a considerable amount of money and living well. Her many international bestsellers include Property of a Noblewoman , Blue , Precious Gifts , Undercover , Country , Prodigal Son , Pegasus , A Perfect Life , and other highly acclaimed novels. She is extremely focused on her goals and her father warns her that if she becomes an actress he will never speak to her again. I bought this book for my Mum who only reads books by Danielle Steele, Dilly Court and Catherine Cookson. She looked nothing like any of the conservative, well-brought-up women he knew, and was stunningly beautiful. A story of family, trauma, the past, distance, escape, perseverance, love, ambition and hope, Invisible is a novel of self-belief. She had no living relatives, but seemed undaunted by her circumstances, and was certain that she would have a career as an actress one day. After her mother leaves to pursue her Hollywood dreams of becoming an actress, Antonia spends time getting lost in books and movies.

Danielle Steel is not for me and I will sadly say that I will be staying far away from even considering reading any other books by this author. Invisible by Danielle Steel is a pleasant story about a young woman who wants to be, and stay invisible. I felt that Antonia was such a well behaved child but my heart went out to her as no child deserves to be treated to feel unwanted as her mother makes abundantly clear. I was wrong and found that many others have the same opinions on the writing and some even stating that the writing is "a classic Danielle Steel. Her father blames her for his wife’s leaving and buries himself in his work, neglecting poor Antonia. They fought all the time and when her mother left when she was seven, her father just disregarded Antonio. I can't believe that I am typing this in 2021, But Danielle Steel made a comment in this book, which I find truly repugnant, Someone in this book was describing their own Divorce and compared it to the Holocaust.

I read my first Danielle Steel novel back in 1977; I was a big Danielle Steel fan for many years and could not wait until her next novel was release. This is not an easy read like all her books, but if you love a hard hitting book you should give this book a try.Fabienne’s mother realized she was pregnant two months after he had left, and tried to discover his whereabouts from the army base in Paris. but “Invisible” was actually a pretty good character driven escape story for a sick day …[two sick days] …. There is a narrowed focus on the film industry, with a specific look at the screen writing industry. Her father thought she looked like an angel, with a fuzz of white-blond hair as a baby, soft blond curls as she grew older, and big blue eyes.
