The author has done an amazing job presenting these topics and not once did I feel I was being told to feel a certain way. Both pov's regarding the issues were presented. It was not one sided.

Grip series is a love story, but touching so many topics and feelings....it is a true masterpiece and a must read. These books are not only for romance lovers... This book should be read by anyone who thinks that reading rimances is a shame. I'm sure that after reading Flow, Grip and Still they will fall in deeply in love with this author writting and characters. I'm not going to dive too much into the storyline cause I don't want to give anything away. If you're a true Gripstol fan STILL is a delicious dessert that'll explore this beautiful couple further, give us fans what we can expect from Kennedy Ryan and a closure that left me satisfied and satiated. Bristol and Grip's connection is why I love reading romance novels. Their game of cat and mouse that they play keeps the story fun. Their sexiness is through the roof. Their willingness to defy all odds and be together is so dreamy, so impactful, because in doing that they're each sacrificing a bit of themselves. Yes it is a story about Love regardless of one's skin color, yet it is also a story about the harsh realities of Life.

I read a lot of books! I can honestly say that I've never felt what I'm feeling now after finishing a series! In flow, we can see the beginning of the story of Grip and Bristol.. their dreams and hopes ... the journey of their friendship and love. you can see and understand the chemistry between them. What we also get is a look at their struggle. We know that Bristol is a powerhouse, and she is a boss babe extraordinaire in this book. Grip is finding his voice and his passion and begins to dig deeper into how he wants to impact the world. The pain that they experience in this book will pierce your heart, but the way this author weaves beauty into tragedy is breathtaking. The poetry, oh, the poetry. Try reading these words and tell me that Grip isn't the book boyfriend to beat all book boyfriends. Still- I k now I sound like a broken record but what I really loved about the book, this series, is the connection that these two characters feel for one another. Being an interracial couple comes with stigmas but Grip and Bristol don't buy into them. There are those against them, those for them, and those that placate them because they believe they won't last. The issues that they face are real, ugly, and hurtful at times but because of their deep commitment towards one another, they are able to rise above it all. It's not easy at times but they forever Feel, Trust, and Believe. I felt it, I believed it, and Grip and Bristol totally demonstrated......

I love these characters. They felt so believable. I would forever read about them. Kennedy’s word flow into your soul! 🥰 I started reading Grip and then would stop and reflect on how intricately Kennedy Ryan wove words of silk to describe a very relevant and prevalent topic into a romance between two completely different people. Simply brilliant!! I can't wait to start "Still" to continue their story! That’s not to say I didn’t experience frustration and indignation while reading the book. I had to curb the urge to toss my beloved Kindle across the room a time or two. However, that only served to make the ending all the sweeter. I loved how all the voices sounded authentic. Never once did I wonder if a person of a different race was writing the characters. I believed the voices of all the characters. This is one of the best books I've ever read. It's beyond beautiful. The characters are soo unbelievably amazing. This series has a power couple! I cannot think of another book that has that, not like Bristol and Grip.This enhanced box set includes Flow, Grip and Still - all 3 books of the groundbreaking Grip trilogy. Grip is magnificent. It's an emotional and profound journey of two extraordinary people who've shared a soul deep connection since the moment they met. Grip will grab your heart, reach into your soul, and it will not let go. Grip is engrossing, it's relevant, it's a powerful and passionate love story. But it's much more than that. It's a thought-provoking look at society and the issues still faced, sadly and shamefully, by a large segment of the population of this country.

Grip and Bristol's friendship is what drew me to them in the first place. They build such a strong foundation in Flow and Grip that only continues to grow in STILL. As lovers there's so many intense emotions that still comes into play. They are both fiercely possessive and protective and I enjoyed to see that side of them especially Bristol.

With complex characters and a thought-provoking story-line, this book was a roller-coaster of emotions and you feel every one of those emotions most especially the intensity of the chemistry between Bristol and Grip. This short novella just shows how far Grip and Bristol have come. Their lives are busier than ever and after all they’ve been through they know they need to prioritize each other and their marriage. Their love is stronger than ever.
