About this deal

It almost sounds like the actors have tried to do a 'chavvy' British accent but not quite managed it. Foi meu primeiro harém reverso, só tinha lido um trisal, então fiquei muito empolgada com esse nova forma de "amar". This bitch really got confessions and proposals out of nowhere in the same time frame as God allegedly created heaven and earth.

The Vipers have no idea what they want to do with Roxy at first, but one of them, Diesel, the unhinged one who carries a fanny pack with explosives and other things, finds her fascinating. I bloody adored this like massively, my First experience of this author and now I just want to binge-read all her backlist I was that impressed with this. I can tolerate a book with some pretty gruesome content as long as it fits within the parameters of the story and isn't just done for shock value.

I read this over the course of a few days because I was in the middle of dealing with writing my first book while I was reading this. The viper guys lmao they made my kitty clench in disgust more than anything 🤣 some scenes just threw me. She loves to get hit, has rewired herself over years of abuse to like choking, slapping, stabbing, impalement with objects various and sundry (seriously, kudos to the author for that water bottle scene. The pain was agonising and my mum had to dig the stinger out of my inflamed, irritated eyelid while I cried. So, I picked up this book after finishing another dark romance series, and holy crap did it hit the spot.

Halfway through the book, which is as far as I could force myself to get, it is essentially 95% ridiculous sex scenes, and 5% pointless "story. Speaking of characters, if you are not sold on the book yet then let me introduce you to the Vipers. all that happens is this group of pervy tough guys kidnaps a girl (for absolutely no reason) and they hate her at first but she has sex with all of them so they like her by the end of the book. Storyline/My Thoughts: I’m going to admit, too, that this book was not a favorite, but I did like some aspects of it. His extremely affectionate and bold personality with his little bird when he wasn't getting down and freaky helped to offset his more extreme sexual proclivities helping to Showcase a much more human side to him, at least with his little bird. Her father owed a lot of money to the Vipers, four men everyone knows are trouble, and they own the town.

All of the guys are very different yet they fit together like a well oiled machine, and even though the story would have been fine with only Roxy telling it, the guys’ POV allows for us to really understand their pains and past that would have been more difficult to pick up with only Roxy. I’ve met people from all over the country and have never, not ever met anyone whose accent sounds like anyone in this book!

Blatant, obvious hints that they've done this to many other women and felt nothing but excitement and joy? There is some attempt at humanising them with backstories, but quite honestly, their penchant for murder and abuse, as well as the kidnapping and sexual assault of women, makes it *really* hard for me to care one little bit about them. Locked in a tower, with four iced, deliciously gorgeous men to guard her, Roxy can't deny her attraction to them.
