For each wound that is healed, reduce the number of wounds allocated to the model by 1, to a minimum of 0. after all of the wounds caused to its unit have been allocated and all attacks that inflicted damage on the unit have been resolved. Lady Olynder is accompanied by a pair of banshee handmaidens – one bearing a gift from Nagash himself – a Grave-sand hourglass. Hovering above the ground in her ghastly bridal dress and veil, little can be seen of her form other than the outline of a skull.

As new aftershocks reverberated from the Necroquake, she unleashed her armies [3a] – a hundred Nighthaunt Processions enter battle alongside the armies of the dead and the other Mortarchs take their measure of their new peer. As the Mortarch of Grief, she is surrounded by an aura of absolute misery – this miniature does an impressive job of capturing the bleakness. On a 5+, that command is not received (it still counts as having been used) and the command point that was spent to issue that command is lost.

Those afflicted suffer a mental burden so dire it causes even the bravest to tremble, their martial prowess lessened by leaden limbs and despondency beyond any hope of redemption. So great was her appeal that she wound her way upwards, winning the hearts of nobles and then, eventually, the Dolorum prince himself.

She attacks the forces of the Chaos warlord Thur in the Underworld of Lyria quickly wiping the majority of his horde. Unless stated otherwise, the ward roll is made before the wound is allocated to the model in question. Lifting the Veil : Those who see what lies beneath Lady Olynder’s veil die with deathmask expressions of shock and horror frozen upon their faces, their dying grief serving only to feed the Mortarch's insatiable desire.
