About this deal

Colour B4 does not contain bleach or ammonia unlike the harsh chemicals that you find in other hair products and in particular hair colourants. Re-oxidation occurs when oxygen molecules (either atmospheric or in applied hydrogen peroxide) make contact with artificial colour molecules.

If you do apply a permanent hair colour to dry, porous hair the result may well be darker and more intense than you desired and it could require another colour removal application, so always rest the hair and get that condition back. I used this product a year ago and was so pleased with the result that i used it again, my hair is somewhat lighter than it was before, definitely not back to normal even the part i used the product twice on. When hair looks darker after drying than whilst the Colour B4 was on the hair this is a sign of re-oxidation.The Conclude Balm formula features plant proteins which enter inside the hair, filling any gaps and moisturising the central area, before closing and protecting the cuticle. You may also want to use a deep conditioning treatment or a protein filler to strengthen your hair and prepare it for re-colouring.

Thus if as you say the hair turns out orangey-red then as you desire a chocolate this would be an advantage as in the hair colour chocolate is considered a warm (reddish) shade. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. If you use a silver shampoo after bleaching it should tone down the orange especially after a few uses. Although many hair products and colourants use silicones these are (in general) completely harmless to the hair. When Colour B4 was launched there was feedback that Colour B4 was having no effect on Schwarzkopf Live XXL black, so It was put to the test using Regular Strength Colour B4 and it removed it from the hair without any problems. In this situation (and to re-create your natural shade) simply select a hair colourant close to your own natural depth and tone. Colour B4 contains no harsh chemicals such as peroxide, bleach and ammonia so it is safe to use during pregnancy.

I used colour b4 extra strength on jet black dyed brunette hair, it went ginger, toned down after a week, and left a great base for me to dye a warm red on my hair. Mine has only been dyed dark so im pretty shocked at this result, if you have had loads of colours on previously I dread to think what it might end up like. Maybe you have been colouring a natural lighter base to a darker or redder shade, and you now want to remove those artificial colour pigments and go lighter. Therefore (once you have successfully removed your unwanted hair colour) you may notice a warm, brassy or even copper tone to the hair – which is often more predominant near the roots (due to heat from the scalp accelerating the previous colour).

However, if you have removed an artificial colour and then experience re-oxidation, it means those reduced synthetic colour molecules did not effectively flush from the hair during the rinsing stage. so the other day I picked up the Colour B4 hair colour remover in the hopes that it would simply remove the deeper tones of dye that have built up in my hair over the years, take me back to my natural shade which is a medium/dark brown and that I would subsequently have a great natural colour ready for a trip to the salon! After your hair is dry, check the results – if the shade is not quite as light as you would like it, or if there is old or stubborn dye in there then you can repeat the process up to three times in a day.

The reduction agent ingredient then enters the cortex (the hair’s central area), locates the synthetic colour pigments, shrinks and shatters them. I would suggest that you take a cutting of the hair and dye that first to test for both the hair strength and colour result rather than risking the entire hair. In these situations, Decolour Remover would only expose more warmth or leave the hair colour unchanged. Observe the colour start to reduce in natural daylight and after a few minutes of development, proceed to rinsing the remover out of the hair. I seldom drop comments, however I read some of the comments here "Colour B4:Hair colour remover *WARNING*".

Mix equal parts of A and B (in pea sized amounts) and apply with a cotton bud or tissue to segregated hair. Some standard red shade permanent hair colours also rely on cuticle staining to achieve their result. For results that are too warm for example honey or gold use a violet purple shampoo or for more intense coverage a red neutralising ash based toner. When you put a permanent colour on your hair the ammonia in it dries it out whilst the peroxide lightens the natural base colour. As the dye molecule is oxidised by the hydrogen peroxide the ammonia that provides the alkaline environment acts as a catalytic agent bonding and breaking down the hairs natural colour pigment.
