About this deal

Tenoch Huerta was a beast as Namor bringing genuine anger and menace to the role of the Sub-Mariner. I can’t really put a concrete reason out there as to why, I just didn’t think the first one was as good as everyone said it was.

These low points that just look a tad off are relatively brief and intermittent, but still a knock in my book. Disney's 4K disc is good enough, available in an expensive Steelbook box set with two equally questionable painted artwork variations, and boasting impressive video and even more impressive audio, but it's too little, two weeks too late, coming in the wake of the movie's Disney+ streaming debut in IMAX Enhanced 4K Dolby Vision no less. The texture in costumes, the contrast and the sprawling landscape of Wakanda all look, well, marvelous. Again, this is a film that was placed in the impossible situation of losing Boseman so close to the start of production forcing the filmmakers to scramble. Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and Everett K.

With Black Panther 2 incorporating the loss of Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa into the film, the sequel blurred the lines between fiction and reality. the 132-minute mark finds some depth but all of the battle elements before that struggle to offer much body. The first hour is dramatic and action-packed and beautifully filmed in keeping with what a great visionary director can bring to this kind of material. Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Dominique Thorne, Winston Duke, Martin Freeman and Tenoch Huerta also star. Three of these scenes feature Okoye, who finds her position as general of the Dora Milaje changed by the events of the film.asset is its late star's spirit coursing through, not merely in the camera but in the heart that Coogler constructs from the beginning. The image pops as the situation warrants and delivers hearty tonal depth and solid contrast throughout. The soundscape in general is active and impressive, but as has been the case with so many Disney discs, levels are an issue so be prepared to pop that volume a few extra notches. All credit to Coogler for spinning Atlantis for Talokan avoiding the comparisons of the same sort of undersea kingdom we already got with Aquaman.

Winston Duke again steals the show every scene he's in and Dominique Thorn’s plucky and fun Riri debuting as Iron Heart turning out to be a pretty entertaining addition to the MCU. action is next to nonexistent in the first act, it's because the story takes too long to present and evolve.Passing the Mantle– We get a more in-depth look at some of the characters in the film and how the passing of T’Challa’s character impacted the others.
