Know what, i have everything on vinyl by Oasis and i mean every promo, single, 12" album but this is the best thing i have ever heard, bar the columbia 12".

I don't usually like remastered albums but this is the first time I've listened to one where the sound is worse in everything. Be Here Now’ was produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher and recorded at Abbey Road, Ridge Farm, Air, Master Rock and Orinoco Studios between November 1996 and April 1997. Magic Pie” and “Stand By Me” on the first vinyl and virtually all tracks on the second vinyl are on par with their earlier albums and well worth listening to. Super muddy mix, no channel separation, just a big muffled wall of noise with the drums buried in the mix. As far as overdubbing the same guitar track dozens of times, I like to see it as an experimental move in music.

I certainly would not and that's why I understand Noel's statement that he could not be bothered any longer after finishing the first track new mix. Basicaly just a cynical cheap shoddy money grab as we are used to the way we are treated in Britain in general. Be Here Now’ stands as a unique album in the Oasis catalogue with its unrepentant excess and supersize swagger. If you can appreciate Steve Reich's material or believe Trout Mask Replica is listenable, you'll learn to enjoy Oasis going mad with compression techniques. A lot has been said and written about the supposed inferiority of the material quality of the tracks on this album when compared with the 2 previous multimillion sellers.
