About this deal

The heroine is slightly more fleshed out with her conflict about being a cam girl, and the fact that she has some other aspirations besides that, but even that is extremely flimsy.

This book, this book, THIS BOOK! I don't know what Sara puts in her writing, but I want to bottle it and hold on to it forever. After Praise, I had a high expectation for Eyes on ME, and Sara delivered. What better way then to go to the cabin where she’s at to see and test.. the sexual tension is high between the two so is the banter and her keeping her job s secret, add ice and a douche who outs you and mix a step brother who now doesn’t wanna do stuff because your a virgin.. poor Mia but it works out for her and Garrett when they go home but Gar has some secrets he never came clean about and it does some damage and makes Mia lose trust in him for abit.

Success!

I like that we have so much variety in the books and I look forward to reading more from Sara Cate in the future. I highly recommend this series and I’ll give the series as a whole a 4 stars, 3.5 peppers, and 2 tissues.

for a book about a sex worker, the language around sex work in this book is NOT positive in the least It was great seeing Charlotte and Emerson again, and the bond of friendship between Emerson and Garrett. Another thing I loved was THE SMUT. Sara can write some dang good smut. This was all types of sexy, voyeurism, exhibitionism, toy play, male booty play and more. This was dangerously hot in the best way.

And have no fear... it definitely brings the spice. The kinks and the sexy times are epic. It just made this book work on so many levels for me. I cannot wait to see what the next 2 books bring. There is some great set up for the next relationship and I am very much anticipating how Sara Cate brings it to life. Praise is an Age-Gap romance with dominance and submission along with a praise kink. If “good girl” is a favorite phrase of yours, this is a must read. And finally, I loved how strong Mia was. Was she slightly immature at times? Yep, but she's only 23 and it made sense for her character. But, she was strong in who she was, with her sexuality, and her comfort in front of the camera. I loved that she wasn't afraid of new things. And she wasn't afraid of Garrett's darkness. I have been wronged. I was out moraled. I can deal with a lot when it comes to taboo romances. Birthday girl? Loved that shit. Age gaps? I can do it. Step siblings? Sure I guess, AS LONG AS THERE ISN’T A SIXTEEN YEAR AGE GAP AND OUR MALE LEAD KNEW HIS LITTLE SISTER SINCE SHE WAS EIGHT. AND SHES A VIRGIN. WHY.

The first book in the series is Praise. In Praise we follow Emerson Grant and Charlie. Charlie is Emerson’s son’s ex-girlfriend who goes to Emerson’s house to get her half of the deposit on her and her ex’s apartment. After a mishap of mistaken identity and an awkward conversation, Emerson decides to give Charlie a job as his assistant. Though neither of them could know how attracted they would be to each other. Garrett is one of our Salacious Club owners and his specialty is voyeurism. One night when he is doing some "research" on some cam girl sights, he comes across a face he is all too familiar with. His 23-year-old stepsister, Mia. He has seen her as childish and annoying in the past and since there is a 15-year age gap between them, they don't have much in common. He can't stop himself from talking to her through a private chat and now he is too curious to make it a one-time thing. Omfg Mia singing karaoke might be the best thing I’ve read. I don’t think I’ve ever been that carefree, even as a child. It’s pretty awe inspiring. If Garrett isn’t smitten by now, I certainly am. The third book in the Salacious Players Club series is Give Me More. In Give Me More we follow Drake, Hunter, and Isabel as they are driving across the country visiting sex clubs to see what more they could bring to the Salacious Players Club. They end up figuring out more about themselves than they ever realized was possible. There is absolutely no depth to the characters. There are mentions of the hero having some darkness and dealing with depression, but it's not fleshed out at all. It's just...there. I stopped a bit after they actually had sex, but this is by no means a slow burn since they get sexual within the first 10% of the book and then have a sex scene every other scene. There's nothing BUT sex, and it would have been fine if this didn't try so hard to be deep Garrett is a voyeur, so he enjoys watching other people have sex. It's his thing. One night, he logs onto an app, only to find his stepsister there. Surprised doesn't begin to cut it. And, all of a sudden, she's not that infuriating little brat he knew. She's a woman. A woman he shouldn't want, but does. The question is... what's he going to do about it?
