About this deal

Baked spaghetti is an easy and tasty casserole meal that’s requires little prep for a delicious weeknight meal. Made with pantry staples, this simple meal is perfect for the whole family and it’s great for make ahead meals. Next, add the vegetables, marinara and water. I like to use at least 1 cup of liquid for every 4 ounces of pasta. So in this case, I add 3 cups of water and 2 cups of marinara. Give everything a really good toss to incorporate all the flavors and make sure the spaghetti is coated with the olive oil and sauce. Using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, fold in the flour, salt and cinnamon until just a few streaks of flour remain. Then fold in the mashed banana until just combined, followed by the white chocolate chips.

If you’re not comfortable with baking foods in foil, you can still use this recipe by making baked salmon in parchment paper instead. Mix up the herbs. I kept it simple with Italian seasoning and basil, but you can also use fresh orengo, rosemary or thyme. What I thought: I’ve finally found the perfect, gooey brownie recipe – thank you Fitwaffle! These brownies are just delicious, with chocolate chips, cocoa and chocolate spread making them ultra-indulgent but the dark chocolate makes sure they’re not too sweet. We brought these into the office and they certainly got the seal of approval from the team who were experiencing the mid-afternoon sugar dip. The recipe makes loads, so there will be plenty to share around with friends and family once you make a batch. Over grains: I find these baked onions work particularly well with grain heavy meals like quinoa, couscous, farro, etc. Acts as a cover for the rice, allowing it to essentially “steam” like it does when cooked on the stove; andIn a medium bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the butter, cream cheese, and icing (powdered) sugar until smooth and creamy. Remove the tin from the freezer and spread the topping gently over the chocolate hazelnut spread layer. If you’ve tried baked salmon in foil or any recipe on One Dish Kitchen please let me know how you liked it by rating the recipe and telling me about it in the comment section below. Coat the center of a sheet of foil with cooking spray or a small amount of olive oil. Place the salmon in the center of the foil. When it comes to this Oven Baked Rice and Vegetables, there is only one rule – you have to use LOTS of veggies. And I’m not just saying that to sound cheeky, I’m being serious. Because you need enough to cover the rice entirely while it’s baking. This serves 2 purposes:

These oven-roasted onions are tender (almost creamy) in the middle with a mild, caramelized, subtly sweet, slightly crisp top and gentle infusion of fresh thyme flavor and have become a new favorite side (though roasted garlic is still my favorite roasted ingredient ever!). Cover with another sheet of aluminum foil and pinch the edges together to seal tightly. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) oven for 20-25 minutes. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the edges are light brown and the middle no longer wobbles. Leave to cool in the tin for at least 1 hour before cutting into 16 squares. Enjoy!

Caramel Apple Pie Bars

I always make a double batch of this meal and then store the leftovers in an airtight container and pop in the fridge. It will keep well for 4 or 5 days, for an easy meal later in the week or as lunches. Just heat it up through in the oven. What do you serve with this spaghetti casserole?

Another option is to use an instant read thermometer. Cook the fish until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Salmon Recipes Change up the sauce. Instead of marinara, you can certainly use a creamy alfredo sauce or even a pesto sauce. Remember to peel: I find it easiest to do so after roasting the onions. However, you can do it beforehand if preferred. Don’t attempt to eat the papery skin, though, as it won’t be pleasant. What I thought:These blondies were delicious. I love biscuit spread on everything so having it mixed in andswirled on top of the bake is an instant winner for me. The method was easy to follow and they set well in the fridge, with the biscuit and chocolate chunks evenly spread throughout. These are a perfect afternoon treat to have with a nice cup of tea. What I thought:This recipe was so easy to follow. Despite loving baking, I’ve never made a cheesecake before, but I felt like a pro by the time I’d finished this recipe. The blueberry running through the bars and the crumble on top make these the perfect spring centrepiece moment – my friends better be impressed! There’s a rich buttery-ness from the shortbread that contrasts with the tang from the lemon and blueberry: delicious! I love that this book requires you to have a 20x20cm tin, and once you’ve got that, you’re ready to go – onto the next bake. Fluffy seasoned rice and oven roasted vegetables, all baked in one pan? YES YOU CAN! The veggie juices drip down into the rice while it’s baking so it absorbs all that extra flavour. It’s like free vegetable broth. While this Oven Baked Rice and Vegetables is great as a side, I usually have it as a meal!

Onions: I used unpeeled medium yellow onions. However, this method should also work with red onions or white onions. When you bake the rice and roasted vegetables in one pan, the reality is that there is only so much veggies that get the benefit of the beautiful oven roasting char. So when you are spreading the veggies across the top of the rice, make sure to be fair! Get a bit of each type of veggies on the surface so you get some char. What I thought: There’s something nostalgic about a rice crispy cake and this recipe takes it to the next level by using Mars bars to bring it all together and topping them with more chocolate and M&Ms (I went with crispy this time, but next time I’m going with peanut M&Ms). I made this last minute and it took no time at all. A super easy delicious crowd-pleaser. These simple oven-roasted onions are tender, mellow, caramelized, and require no peeling! Baked as halves, whole, or quartered to serve as a versatile side and on your holiday table!

Baking salmon in foil provides you with a delicious meal with little cleanup. This cooking technique keeps the moisture inside the foil which helps to keep the salmon tender, flaky, and perfectly cooked. Expert Tips In a medium bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the butter, cream cheese and icing (powdered) sugar until smooth and creamy. Remove the tin from the freezer and spread the topping gently over the chocolate hazelnut spread layer. Garlic: sprinkle them with a bit of garlic powder for extra flavor. Alternatively, gently press fresh garlic into each onion half to infuse the flavor throughout. Avoid overcrowding: this will ensure the onions become wonderfully caramelized rather than just steaming from proximity. I used carrots, zucchinis, corn, capsicum/bell peppers, onion and cauliflower, all of which are standard for my weekly shop. I’m sure you can make yours much more exciting than mine. 😉
