I dont remember this one from school like everyone else! Out of all of the caramel scents I have tried, Gold Couture is my least favorite. It's honestly the least refined. Cacharel Yes I Am is my favorite with it's buttery caramel scent. Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon would be my second favorite, the caramel is super sweet and smooth with a bit of an orange scent to it. Then, I would rank the original Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture although I honestly think the caramel is not as noticeable to my nose in that scent as the others. OK Gold Couture, you can have my smiley face, because you got me laid. But my heart is still chasing that caramel unicorn.

I imagine boys and simple minded men would like this, it is very sensual, cozy and warm. In all of its simplicity, it screams "come on taste me" Middle: caramel, vanilla, and possibly one of the white flowers. The caramel get less sweet, and more... Caramelized I guess, if you understand what I mean. It turns darker and darker. very sweet vanilla caramel opening! fades into a stronger caramel note the more it stays on my skin. even though i voted for winter and fall it’s kind of a refreshingly sweet and warm winter and fall scent?

But then it started settling on me and I looooove it! It makes me feel like a mysterious, sexy girl no matter what I'm wearing. My boyfriend seems to agree, too. ;) idk if i got a bad bottle but this is really not how i imagined it would smell like after all the raves I've seen online for this perfume. It's a Bath & Body Works spray marked up five times the price. I got it for a steal and even then I think I over payed. Save your money and buy "Be Enchanted" the next time it comes around in one of their sales. Literally just got this for lawyering purposes only for whenever I want to add a Carmel touch to my scents. However I did have a different experience with the tester. I smelled this at the local sephora store. The tester where the cap had been removed(probably due to people dropping the perfume by holding the cap) and it's just placed under the bright lights instore, atomizer is spoilt and the perfume comes out in a squirt. So I assume it's not exactly a very fresh bottle. I sprayed it on my arm to get a feel of how it performs on my skin, but I straight up get a strong sweet caramel note from this. No fruit, floral layers like the usual juicy DNA. I find that the notes are laid out quite differently to what you smell while wearing this fragrance.
Fragrances are so weird. When I was little, there was a stuffed toy called Puppy Surprise (and a Kitty Surprise flanker too, I believe). The big draw to Puppy Surprise was that the mama dog came with puppies, but you didn’t know how many you were getting when you bought it because they were all stuffed inside the yawning maw of her plushy womb. I can still hear the commercial in my head: “There could be three, or four, or fiiiiiiive!” So of course everyone crossed their fingers for five, but most people ended up with three. A better version of the OG Viva la Juicy. VLJ Gold Couture smells similar to the original but has more caramel which makes this scent even more delicious. Viva La Juicy Gold Couture is a new version of the Viva La Juicy fragrance from 2008 by Juicy Couture, coming out in August 2014. The fragrance is created by Honorine Blanc as a glamorous and decadent version of the original.
