Simply slide away the protective cover on the top of the printer that covers the toner inlet, screw in a toner refill, and plunge down. The printer’s toner tank itself can handle two toner refills, so it’s up to you if you want to refill to max capacity or not. The Neverstop’s 150-sheet paper input “tray” is a bit of an oddity. Instead of sliding it out as with most laser printers, you clip off a cover and slide your paper into a cavity in the bottom. This isn’t particularly convenient and the cover is a bit fiddly to replace. The HP Neverstop Laser 1202nw is good value to run but it needs to be, because it’s not particularly cheap to buy. For a similar price you could get a decent colour laser printer, such as the HP Color LaserJet Pro M255dw, although you’d be losing the Neverstop’s scanning and copying functions.

Dirt and dust can accumulate on the rollers that feed the paper into the printer. Refer to directions for cleaning your printer roller if problems occur.

Can’t stop won’t stop

Setting up the Neverstop Laser 1200w is all done through the HP Smart app, which talks you through adding the printer to your Wi-Fi network as well as alerting you to toner levels and allowing you to print directly from your phone or Google Drive. Windows users can utilize the desktop version of the app, which offers a bit more details and configuration via the printer’s dedicated web portal. Print speed and quality You do get an Ethernet port, though, as well as the usual USB and Wi-Fi connections.
