About this deal

My favorite part was when they confronted Simon Cowell about how unhappy they were at one point doing Britain’s Got Talent and I very much agreed with their thoughts, and glad SC felt the same and did something to change it, just shows how good these two that SC is willing to change something in the show so he won't lose them. This book is about the shows that they have worked on SMTV, pop idol, BGT, I’m a celeb and their pop career. Don't get me wrong, it's mildly entertaining but you won't learn much - it's like an evening with Ant and Dec, where they wheel out plenty of tried and true anecdotes you probably have heard before if you're a longtime fan - especially if you read their 2009 autobiography. I listened to this are a time that I was struggling mentally. It was the lift that I needed, it made me reminisce about the 90's and laugh so much.

Listening to Once Upon A Tyne makes you feel the lads are really just chatting to you and you only, telling you about their life and times of grown up together in the entertainment industry, I think mainly because they are not just read their book they actually speak off the cuff, elaborating on the story they are telling at the time, with Ant’s comedy timing and Dec’s hearty laugh, this audiobook brought me laugh out loud moments and tears to my eyes with heart felt emotional words between them both. Planet Radio hits radio entertainment celebrity Ant and Dec reveal they are releasing a children’s book We had a heart-to-heart. I said, ‘Look, forget everything – TV, the partnership – you’ve just got to go and get well.’ This book was great, and gave us a detailed insight in to some of the main points of their career, from the Byker Grove days, to their pop career and then to the presenting days. It was written very well, from both of their perspectives and was like having a conversation with them. I love the relationship these two have with each other, their friendship is like no other and it’s clear to see how they have always been there for each other and supported each other.

Check out Ant and Dec's complete career timeline:

I wouldn't mind so much it there weren't chapters devoted to vague themes such as awards ceremonies and the royals so it's not like they didn't have the space. Ant and Dec came together to create a new show about their ancestors and to find out where they both came from. The programme was made over two years and Ant and Dec journeyed to places such as Ireland and United States of America. The most amazing part of their DNA journey was that they actually found out that they were in fact distant relations of each other! All of Ant and Dec’s author proceeds from the book will be donated to the NSPCC to support their lifechanging work protecting children. I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ Has been on ITV in Britain every year since it started in 2002, and a couple of years had two series per year, namely two series in 2004.

Ant said: “Every child deserves a happy childhood – and the NSPCC rely on fundraising to ensure they can continue to be here for children and families. Despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Ant and Dec were able to present the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity from Gwrych Castle in North Wales! A very fun listen. They're obviously an electric duo and it was a joy to listen to their story from themselves. The plot was entertaining and funny, as would be expected. This audiobook is just brilliant, the PDF photo book to accompany the storytelling is a wonderful touch and the nice surprising at the end of them reading this superbly written book is what really made me laugh. But no less true. And after three decades together, we're writing that book. Covering everything from a pirate radio storyline in Byker Grove through to the biggest shows on telly, this is our story. Dropped a point as it was fairly short, and I'm sure in 30 years they could have delved further into several stories. The plus side of that is that it remained throughout fast paced and unrelenting.

Book Review: Ant and Dec — Once Upon A Tyne — Our Story Celebrating 30 Years Together on the Telly — Autobiography Meet Ant & Dec. being around the same age as this duo all of their history in their teens and 20’s, I get it!Ant's parents moved away so now he lives with Dec and his mum. Meanwhile, the two young Geordies discover their feelings for each other. It is interesting to hear how they both have developed and changed individually over the years. But despite the success, they remain humble and I think that's what made me admire them more. And as another Chinese proverb says, 'If you've been in a double act with your best mate for thirty years, why not write a book about all your most memorable moments in three decades of showbusiness?'

As time went on filming Byker Grove, both Ant and Dec became fascinated with how the production of a TV series actually worked. Finding out about the different aspects of TV production, while starring in Byker Grove, helped them with their future success. My personal favourite was the PJ and Duncan section.... as I was a huge fan growing up! Also loved the photos that were included, some made me laugh out loud.In 2015, Ant was prescribed painkillers for botched surgery on his knee. Over the next two years, he became dependent on the drugs and on alcohol. In 2017, he entered rehab to deal with his addictions, and returned to work in the November.
