About this deal

Once we finally got our hands on it after waiting, we were initially stopped by a game-breaking bug that occurred the moment we began to play. Slightly concerning. As the game went on, it was clear that resources had been heavily invested in certain areas, including some impressive voice acting, but not so much in other areas. Looking at the last couple of years, it will probably end up one of the 5 worst-rated games of the year. I've also heard that it's online-only, which is a deal-breaker for me. If I have to have an internet connection, I can't play this anywhere I couldn't just play the card game. I'm still pretty confident that it's a good experience and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys video card games like Hand of Fate, Slay the Spire or Hearthstone.

One ring to rule them all, one ring to bind them… but do you have what it takes to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom? Join Frodo and the rest of the Fellowship of the Ring, as they set out on an epic quest across Middle-Earth in LEGO The Lord Of The Rings on Nintendo 3DS.Serpenterror respectfully I don't think I've ever heard a weirder opinion in my entire life. I'm sure it was an intentional decision because they knew it would sell like hotcakes no matter how garbage the game was but why would you defend them like that lol

Do you have any hope left for Gollum on Switch? Did you ever have any? Share your thoughts with a comment down below. The setting looks great tho and very authentic to the movies, hopefully the gameplay and story will stand up. See also What Happens When You Complete Lego Marvel Superheroes 2? Why the Lord of the Rings is so good? Phillips, Tom (3 January 2019). "Lego Lord of the Rings games removed from Steam, Xbox and PS4 stores". Eurogamer. Archived from the original on 3 January 2019 . Retrieved 4 January 2019. Love the subtitle of the article hehe. I'm curious about this game, especially about the story. My guess is that it will follow Gollum as he searches for Bilbo. Then we can have encounters with orcs, elves, Shelob, and maybe even Aragorn.

Oh boy... We were worried when developer and publisher Daedalic Entertainment announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum would be arriving on the Switch after its release on other platforms. Now that it's out on PS5, Xbox, and PC, however, we're dreading what an eventual Switch version will look and play like. This is great to see, really pleasantly surprised to see this come to Switch. Most interesting Lord of the Rings title to be made in years. I wish that series' licensing wasn't so murky, would love to see Shadow of War/Mordor and the GameCube EA titles (Two Towers, Return Of The King, The Third Age) come to Switch. The movie entries EA did were surprisingly good, almost Hyrule Warriors-esque in both gameplay and the amount of content on show. The Third Age was a surprisingly good, underrated Final Fantasy-style turn-based RPG with an original story running concurrently with the LOTR movies. Would love to see these remastered for modern hardware.

I dislike literally everyone who comes on the posts about this game and just whines because the game isn't for them. Imagine if I did that for every Jrpg and shoot 'em up, what a waste of energy. Gollums one of my top ten literary characters of all time, and his character has an extremely interesting journey and arc interwoven throughout the lore. I'm genuinely excited nely excited for this game, though maybe not the switch port.I love stealth, platforming, and exploration so this seems right up my alley. It also seems to be taking some cues from the Styx games which I quite enjoyed. Was keeping this on my radar already, but would especially love to play it on the Switch.

Somewhere along the line, there was a huge failure of foresight on whether this would be something that would interest people, much less compell them to put money down. I am a massive LOTR fan, have been since I was a teen in the 90s, and continue to be. I loved the Shadow Of games and also the PS2 era titles that came out in the style of the movies. But this..I don't know. This has never appealed to me or done anything to make me want to play it. I had a bad feeling that this was going to be the unsteady route that this game took. I mean, I wouldn't have bought the Nintendo Switch version regardless, but I expected more polish than this. (I am not sure what system this is being playing on?) Maybe if it is added to the Playstation Plus collection down the road, I might try it.Lego The Lord of the Rings and Lego The Hobbit were removed from the digital store last year, but it’s not clear why. Is Lego The Hobbit rare?
