Have decided to review further in the late spring/ summer months as I tend to use a toner more during the summer to control some oiliness. Feels a little drying on my skin. Winter is not my skin's favourite months. Skullcap Root Extract– A traditional Chinese medicinal herb rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory flavonoids.7

My favorite part of the toner though is the glow it gives! Not a shiny or dewy look, but my skin looks less dull and has that subtle glow from within, similar to the glow from using SK-II Facial Treatment Essence! Now the Haruharu is nowhere near an exact dupe, but I’m impressed nonetheless. ✅ Alcohol is a non-issueAfter cleansing, pour a small amount onto a cotton pad and sweep it over your face. Alternatively, pour a little into your palms and pat into the skin to aid absorption. Hyaluronic acid provides comforting hydration deep into the skin, while added beta-glucan and red ginseng extract heal and rejuvenate. And it gets better. I've looked up the ingredients and found out that it's vegan-friendly and fragrance-free, and its glass jar is recyclable!

Both contain alcohol, May Coop more so than the Haruharu, but the May Coop is also noticeably more hydrating. In fact I found it to work better than a lot of hydrating serums! It’s harder to find though, and more expensive. I only use them if I notice that my skin could use a bit more hydration and this product is very nice. I don't layer my toner, so I cannot comment on that but I found this to be very hydrating. I always use it after cleansing my face and it absorbs really well while making my skin feel nice and plump. Would definitely recommend for combination skin.
