As far as toy reboots the company Toymax started making the Popples again in 2001. They released new characters that still looked a bit like the old ones and a bunch named after celebrities such as Jessica Biel and Melissa Joan Hart of all people. Pretty Bit: Small purple Popple who almost always speaks in rhyme. She is more shy than most of the Popples, but is still very loyal to her friends. She enjoys poetry and is also an expert on manners and etiquette. Pretty Bit appeared in 11 episodes.

There were numerous variants: Flower Popples (who would turn into flowers when you flipped them inside out), Pillow Popples (wearing pajamas and turned into sleeping bags), Fruit Popples (who turned into different fruits), and Special Editions with limited distribution (including an animal series only released in Europe with Popples that resembled a parrot, dog and rabbit), and Costume Popples who were wearing special outfits and turned into something related (example: a ballerina Popple that turns into a handbag). Bonnie, Party, Potato Chip and Prize are having a pillow talk. Meanwhile, Billy and P.C. have other plans to stop them.
