If you are looking for a coffee with an intense and sweet taste, choose dark-roasted Arabica beans. If, on the other hand, you prefer coffee with a bit of acidity, a blend of lightly roasted Arabica and Robusta beans is the right choice for you. Recommended usage:The general recommendation is to use one Cleaning Capsule after every 30 cups of coffee made, but at least once a month. Pour your descaling solution in according to the manufacturer's instructions. Vinegar and water may also be used if the owner's manual for your machine says it will not cause harm. Because almost all the heaters in your machine are made of aluminium, they will be etched by vinegar. Vinegar is also insufficiently effective against limescale. Get started by removing the water tank and emptying its contents. Submerge the water tank in warm soapy water and give it a good clean using a cloth. Rinse it with clean water and put it to one side. Move onto the cup holder and remove it so that you can wash it in soapy water. Next, remove all other washable parts such as the capsule holder and the drip tray before rinsing them, drying with a cloth, and returning them to the machine.

The coffees inside the pods come from many different parts of the world and have their very own unique taste. The water tank must also be cleaned regularly to ensure only fresh water is used to make coffee.

A clean Nespresso machine will make the highest quality espresso possible. You should also clean a Nespresso machine because of health reasons. Bacteria and mold can build up over time in the water tank. Residue, oils, minerals, and coffee grounds can clog the machine and affect the taste of your coffee.Using ordinary descaler or vinegar in your machine is not recommended in the operating instructions.
