Joint-It Simple can only be used where there is a permeable base. We recommend a 6:1 sand and cement base. If you are unsure if your base is permeable, run a hose for several minutes on the top of the paving. If the water drains through the joints after about 5 minutes, then the base is permeable. If the water logs on the top, then the base is not permeable. A cancellation request by the consumer must be put in writing to [email protected] and received by the Company within the 7 working day period. Joint-It Simple – can be applied to concrete paving slabs, cobbles, and natural stones including – Sandstone, Granite, Limestone, Slate, Concrete Slabs, Yorkstone, and Porcelain tiles. When applying Joint-It Simple, take care to use plenty of water and remove all excess product from the top of the slabs at the end of the application. Joint-It Simple is a ready-mixed paving jointing mortar solution. This jointing mortar is both water-permeable and cement-free. At Pave Direct, It is available in two colours, neutral and grey. Joints must be a minimum of 3mm wide and 25mm deep to apply Joint-It Simple. If the joints are smaller than this, we recommend using Joint-It Fine. Add more water: Add more water sparingly to help Joint-It flow into joints of the paving, working diagonally across the joints to ensure Joint-It has penetrated all joints of the paving.
