About this deal

I find that the frame also needs to be wiped down every now and again, especially when taking the buggy off-roading. Price and competition: is the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 good value for money? Shopping basket is very small so it would be good if it came with a bag hook of some kind. Tested by dad Dean Thompson for the M&B Awards 2016: It is baby car seat-compatible though (using a universal travel system adapter that needs to be bought separately) and the near-lie-flat seat reclines to over 150 degrees, which is a requirement for newborns. However, I think the seat is a bit too big for small babies so you'd definitely need to buy a newborn support.

I currently store the Nipper in my kitchen when not in use, however I have enough space to leave it unfolded with the wheels attached. It does also stand upright when folded for storage. Out N About Nipper Sport V4: how easy is it to clean?

What are the specs?

One thing that would make it so much better for me was if it was just slightly smaller when its folded, I need a pram I can fit in my car, when I’ve got all my children so have all my seats up (I have a Zafira) a seven seater with a very narrow boot space when used to full capacity. Otherwise this pram is just perfect. Tested by mum Colette Molyneux for the M&B Awards 2017: Running form: Aim to maintain an upright posture and resist the temptation to to lean over the handlebars. The Out n About Nipper Sport is great to run with, really light and supportive for the little one. It flies on tarmac and holds its own off road" - Mumsnet user, emmathedilemma The seat can be made more snug but adding in the liner that comes with the Little Nipper. It is a nice touch, but the material it is made from does appear a little low budget.

There’s no doubt that the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 has been designed primarily with running in mind, but it also functions very well as a day-to-day buggy, particularly if you live in a rural area and regularly do a good amount of off-roading like I do. Take it slow: It’s best to start things off slowly and gradually increase your pace as you become more comfortable with running with your child in tow. The Little Nipper is very light. This is perhaps the thing you notice when you first get your hands on it. It has a very big seat which means it good longevity, I like the chunky chassis design but am not convinced by the double front wheel. I do however think the Little Nipper will be quite hard wearing when compared to traditional strollers.

How comfortable is the Out N About Nipper Sport V4?

The foam handlebar offers a comfortable grip and the buggy comes with a wrist strap that can be attached to the handlebar, ensuring maximum safety while jogging. The Little Nipper's basket measures 40cm x 27cm x 15cm. It is not huge and access is a little compromised, however you will get a bag of shopping and a bit more in there if you try. The basket is made from a mesh material without solid base. I think weight will be more of a problem than volume. The overall quality of the pushchair meant that I wouldn't need to worry about it breaking, it was a pleasure to use with my grandson. The handling of the pushchair is just so easy, I spend less time trying to lug it around and more time doing things I enjoy. I really liked this pram, it's nice and compact, folds in to one so is easier to put up and down, both seats recline, it's easy to push, it is reasonably priced and was comfy for older/taller children. It is also suitable from birth which means it could be the only pram you ever need to buy. The hoods come quite far over so can properly shade the children and seats.

While the Nipper Double looks wide thanks to its larger-than-average wheels, it’s actually one of the narrowest side-by-side models on the market (72cm, narrower than the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo or the Bugaboo Donkey Twin) – and, at 12.8kg, it’s also one of the lightest we tested. It is very good value for money and will last until both children are old enough to not need a pram anymore. Some of the other prams I've tested will only last until maybe 2 years old and will then become very difficult to push and the seat unit will be too small (I have twins) but this is not the case with this pram. This buggy is a very good option for parents who have never used a buggy over moderate to rough terrain. There is plenty of space for your child with reclining feature too. The buggy itself seems sturdy and up to the job. The design of the little Nipper was good, it was comfortable for baby and overall very good quality. I did find it difficult to fold the pushchair at times and it wasn't very portable for a stroller. It was comfortable to push and easy to manoeuver. The colour of the stroller was very nice. The price was reasonable but more expensive than others on the market. As a running buggy, it’s a sturdy piece of kit with a suspension that can be adjusted to suit all running terrains - hello bumpy forest trails! The comfy padded seat (with five-point harness) offers a smooth ride and has plenty of room for kids of all sizes. There’s a rear light for added safety on grey days and adjustable airflow vents for sunny ones. The sun canopy is large enough to provide decent coverage, however it’s noisy to fold in and out, which could disturb a napping baby. Note: mine miraculously stays sleeping each time I do this! It would be nice for the folding mechanism to be a little easier, the folding combination on the handlebar can sometimes be fiddly and time consuming. Tested by grandma Maria Thompson for the M&B Awards 2016: With large air-filled tyres, rear-wheel suspension and lightweight frames, running buggies are sturdier than regular pushchairs and offer a smooth journey for both runners and riders.
