About this deal

I see ya done some booking for next year, I am damn determined to get out there next season, and hope to take in some North west meets, and maybe stray a little further from there on.

We have lovely friend who have all donated camping equipment and materials our way which included a massive gazebo and windbreaks and using these we managed to make ourselves a lovely cosy little home for our camping trip. (hopefully I will be able to upload the pics and you will see what we did). This allowed us to extend the tent and have a little outside area. I have this tent and for the price I think its actually very good! I got it in an offer some years ago to go camping in Cornwall. It took hardly any time to put up as only 4 poles involved. You can fit a double bed in the bedrooms and the living bit gives you space to breath so your not under each others feet! we had lovely weather the 1st time I used it. This tent is okay for 2 nights but I will be investing in a bigger one for next year if we plan to go away for longer, it will have to have a sewn in groundsheet and ample standing room and an area to sit comfortably. We select the bestselling pop up tents, buy every pop up tent we test and take them to a field to peg them up and record how they stand up to the wind and rain during a blustery week. Pitching and collapsing Manufacturers don't appear to take storing kit into account when labelling tents, so you might find yourself short on space.

ProAction 6 Man 2 Room Tunnel Tent Reviews

We decided to bin the tent when we got home but it has not put off the Wife so we got a new Gelert Horizon 6 to go out with next time. On the second day it lashed down with rain and the tent started to leak on the seam where the bedrooms hang, it then started to run down the bedroom netting. It is so easy to put up, completely idiot proof. You simply can't get it wrong. The front porch bit was big enough to put the coolbox on one side and the general big camping box on the other so I had the full space inside for my sleeping bag and clothes etc. I'm only 5ft4, and it wasn't tall enough to stand up in, but I didn't really find that to be an issue. It didn't feel cramped in any way.

We fitted a double airbed and a single airbed in the bed area and left our belongings in the porch area. There was no room left in this area once we had the beds in but this was fine as we only wanted it as somewhere to lay down. My partner is 5ft 9 in and we laid the airbed so that our feet were at the door end, in the morning he complained that there was not enough room to stretch out. I looked at the tent and thought all sides were the same- apparently not. My father in law suggested turning the airbed the other way and laying on it and much to our surprise when we did this there was slightly more room for him to stretch out in!We pitch and peg out each tent following the instructions, taking into account how long it takes us, how straightforward the process is, and any struggles we have along the way. For the price score, it seems pretty obvious, but we’re basing the score on the price of the product against competitor products or even alternatives from the same brand. For example if we find another ProAction product at a cheaper price than ProAction 6 Man 2 Room Tunnel Tent, but we feel they’re of similar quality, we’ll score the cheaper product higher. ProAction 6 Man 2 Room Tunnel Tent review score For the review score, we gave ProAction 6 Man 2 Room Tunnel Tent 8.6 out of 10. To reach that score we use information on what customers are saying about the same product from a number of retailers, to create an aggregate score. The only thing we noticed was the top covering didn't seem to fit completely, it was a struggle getting the pegs in the ground, and tying it to the main tent!

Hi Elaine, I would never compare a Pro-Action tent to a Coleman Weathermaster, that would be like putting a wendy house up against the Taj Mahal hahahaha. There was only 2 of us using it, as my partner is too tall to fit in smaller tents! But it had room for our double sleeping space, and all of our bags and belongings beside us, with plenty of room left.Living space was ok for a family of 3 or 4 but would not want to have 6 in the tent as this would be a tight squeeze, the sleeping areas were roomy enough for 2 adults but you would not want 3 in there unless you were all 'VERY' close to each other. Unfortunately with this tent you really do get what you pay for. The material is very thin and when it rains you can feel the mist coming through. The bedrooms are on the small side, it is more a 4 berth than a 6 and you cannot stand up anywhere in the tent although there is just about space for a small kitchen area and enough room to sit down on the floor in the middle area (no good for chairs). The groundsheet doesn't keep out any wind or rain so you feel like you want to hibernate in the bedrooms in poor weather. Five things to look for when buying a pop up tent 1) Be wary of how many people supposedly fit in the tent To get the quality score, we’re looking at a number of factors, but typically we’re studying the brand of the product, the warranty included and basing it on what customers have to say about the quality. Although it's technically 4 man, I wouldn't think it would be comfy for any more than 2 adults. It was a great size for me and a large hairy dog but like caravans etc ' 4 berth' would have been an uncomfortable squeeze.
