This series is definitely what I’d class as my comfort reads. You know exactly what you’re going to get but it doesn’t matter because they just make you smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside. She's a travel writer, rarely does the basic press junkets but was on this one as a last min replacement and thus had no idea that the owner of this luxury resort is Finn, the one who got away so many years before. My favourite thing about this book was the important topics it touched on, I hope these are developed more in the rest of the series! Some people may find some of the topics triggering so I would approach this book with some caution. I loved the focus on loyal and supportive female friends, it was a great reminder of what is truly important in this world and reminded me of my own closest friends. I can’t wait to follow the friends more in the rest of the series! And of course the rest of the lost hours girls are present over the phone for Zoe too, so great to catch up with Malie and Victoria from the previous books and I am already looking forward to Lily's story next!

The perfect combination to brighten up anyone's day' Bestselling author Jules Wake There is a very full cast of characters in this book- more than I am normally comfortable with, but the author balanced things quite well, and I’m thinking this book could be an anchor for subsequent installments, since Victoria has a few old friends who deserve a story of their own someday. Having read (and loved) the two previous books in this series, I couldn't wait to travel to Tahiti to meet fabulous and fearless Zoe, our next leading lady. I tried some of the Baked Powder Highlighting Trio for the first time without any primer just moisturizer and a few drops of Hard Candy Mix-In Foundation Drops. Believe it or not, my makeup was still intact from morning until late that afternoon when I headed to my tub. It didn’t fade or appear patchy and probably would have stayed just as nice, but I was tired and needed to unwind with a relaxing soak after a busy day.

The Meet me in books are quite possibly my favourite series, I would love to have a friendship group like the Lost Hour Girls and I wouldn’t say no to going to Tahiti either! Zoe has spent her life doing battle: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn Doherty and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. She remained strong until the day Finn, the person she thought she could trust, broke her heart. Now a successful travel writer, Zoe is excited to be reviewing a new luxury hotel for her blog in the beautiful South Pacific—until she meets its owner.
A book with a huge heart, a dreamy location and a fabulous heroine, Meet Me in Tahiti is the very definition of romance. Sweet, funny and full of zest for life - I adored it!' Both characters are perfectly flawed and still harbour feelings for one another, yet their fear of rejection keeps them holding onto the 'what ifs' of the past rather than admitting their feelings. With plenty of will they/won't they? moments, that'll have you holding your breath, it's a love story fuelled by emotion and a relationship you can't help but root for!
When Victoria and Oliver literally run into each other the encounter leads to a formal agreement between them- if Victoria will 'pretend' to be his 'temporary' girlfriend, he will help get her designs noticed. Overall, this a cute, sweet romance, easy to read, and yet another perfect, protective cocoon of distraction against all the distressing turmoil out there. The love story is very different from the first two books with it being a "second chance at love" so although it does follow a very similar structure, it still feels like an original story, with Zoe and Finn already having a history from which resolutions need to be made.
