Oclean is becoming more and more well known in the oral health market because of its popular range of toothbrushes. But, with so many options that could take the title of best electric toothbrush on the market, how can you be sure you’re choosing the right one for your needs? In my academic pursuits, I earned a BSc in Information Systems Design from UCLAN, before advancing my learning with a Master’s Degree in Computing. This advanced study also included Cisco CCNA accreditation, further demonstrating my commitment to understanding and staying ahead of the technology curve. The brush comes with a travel case and AAA batteries. its biggest downside is the need to replace batteries, along with brush heads, every few months, which isn't particularly eco-friendly nor cost-effective in the long run. However, each replacement will last at least three months, as the brush isn't particularly power-hungry.If you're looking to travel frequently and want a spare toothbrush, or you're looking for an affordable way to start smart-cleaning, this is the brush for you. The toothbrush is also designed to be as ergonomic and usable as possible, with an anti-slip texture to the toothbrush body that is also stain resistant. It's well designed, too. A bright touchscreen display built into the brush handle allows you to choose from various modes and intensity settings, with a timer that counts down as you brush. It works surprisingly well with wet hands and is more intuitive than pushing a series of physical buttons.
The battery life of this toothbrush is 30 days, which is pretty standard for an electric toothbrush — even a smart one. Charging time is considerably faster than most toothbrushes at just 2.5 to 3 hours for a full charge. Brushing power: ★★★★★ Noise is another consideration that's easy to overlook and tends to correlate with price; a cheap electric toothbrush might be effective, but paying more will get you a higher-end motor that won't wake a sleeping partner in the morning. Is a sonic or oscillating toothbrush better? While this toothbrush is great, it does come with a very hefty price tag. Additionally, I could not find replacement heads for this toothbrush kit which is definitely a bummer. Overall, I think this is a very good toothbrush although at that price point, I'd like to see it have additional brush heads and more features. Doc S. The Elite does offer some nice extras that do justifiably command a premium. The very low noise levels are one such example. The touchscreen has an impact too as does the magnetic wall mount.

When you actually come to begin the brushing session, the display will change. It will show a ring, within which the number of the intensity level is shown. Outside of the ring is the name of the cleaning mode in use and a timer, counting down the total brushing time. If we compare this toothbrush to other high-end smart toothbrushes like Sonicare or Oral-B, Oclean is definitely one of the cheapest and best value for money. With so many different electric toothbrushes on the market, the task of choosing one can be pretty difficult. You have to consider a toothbrush's main features, as well as how it looks and feels, how well it works, and of course cost and value for money. The screen on the original Oclean X was pretty awful. It was difficult to use and quite infuriating. In fact, it ruined the user experience.

However, unless you particularly want this one for its ultra-low noise level, the X Pro Elite arguably offers more features for around the same price. Instead, all the customization is done through the mobile app. That's not an issue once you've set it to your exact preferences, though; provided you don't like to switch modes on the fly, it's a superb brush. As I have already suggested, this is a smart toothbrush. This means it connects to your phone via an Oclean app available for Android and iOS.Overall, this is an effective toothbrush that is simple and elegant, and if you aren’t looking for app connectivity and multiple settings then it’s great value for the money.
Oclean's X10 toothbrush is a viable choice for anyone looking for an electric toothbrush. It is the newest addition to the company's line of products and a successor to the Oclean X toothbrush. The Oclean X Pro Elite is Oclean’s flagship sonic toothbrush. It has an elegant lightweight design, with a non-slip handle and smart color touch screen. In comparison to its predecessor, the Oclean X Pro, the Elite is much quieter thanks to Oclean’s latest noise reduction technology. Overall Oclean X10 reviewAlthough it woke most of the time, there were a few instances where I did need to press the power button twice. Once to wake the brush and a second time to turn it on. Oscillating toothbrushes feature rotating and pulsating round brush heads that can rotate up to ~8,000 times per minute, depending on the model. While they're slower in this department, oscillating toothbrushes benefit from the rotating head, which is fantastic for fighting plaque.
It's not a true smart brush like the above Oral-B, as it has no sensor to detect mouth position, but it will flash if you put too much pressure on your gums and has both regular and sensitive modes. For thirty dollars, or the equivalent? It's excellent. The main difference for me is that the X10 swaps wireless charging for USB-C but has an incredible 60-day battery life. I think this is my preference over wireless charging as I know I will always have a USB-C cable wherever I go, and this toothbrush is therefore perfect for travelling. Oclean X10 Features Colour Display You don’t have position detection in the app. And you don’t get an on-screen timer telling you how long you have left to brush. The brush handle includes an accelerometer that monitors its position in your mouth as you clean, but unlike smart toothbrushes from Philips and Oral-B, the Oclean app doesn’t show this data in real time. Instead, the info syncs with the app after you’ve finished, and presents you with a map of your brushing efforts, together with a score. Remember this info, and you should be able to achieve a better rating.You then have the option to change the brushing intensity. There are 32 different levels of intensity. 1 is the lowest and most gentle with 32 being the most powerful. There are many elements to the app that I could talk about, but I am going to keep it quite brief to keep things simple. The colour is called ‘Ultimate Grey’ or ‘Limestone Grey’. It has a really soft tone to it. There is a very light mottling that makes it look like the sort of colour you would find on a well worn stone at the beach.
