About this deal
PROMOTES PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: This game gets children jumping, leaping, playing, and improving their strength, conditioning, balance, and endurance! Each of these cushioned, durable, slip-resistant foam stepping stones can be used during outdoor parties or indoor sleepovers
The only hurdle was when we’re all going for the same piece – which will happen – resulting in a few tangled pieces. It didn’t take long to untangle ourselves, however a four year old isn’t the most gentle of creatures when trying to untangle jelly from jelly, meaning we often had to grab T’s slime hand from him. I don’t know how durable the ‘slime’ is, but we were weren’t willing to test it out! Splats of different colors must have different values. Splats of the same color must have the same value.)

DAD: Not quite, but very close! You see its all about that end bit of the word. Car… Star… Can you hear that ’ar’ sound? Whereas hair ends in an ’air’ sound. ’Ar’, ’Air’, ’Car’, ’Hair’. Can you hear the difference?
KIM: But cats and bats aren’t the same? One’s a cute fluffy thing that sleeps all day and the other one’s a bat that flies at night turns into a vampire! I would treasure hearing about your experiences using Splat! to promote number sense in your classroom! With family game nights being a firm favourite when it comes to things we like doing of an evening, it’s becoming a challenge to find new games to play. Don’t get me wrong, there are several games that we play time and time again, or ones that are always at the top of T’s suggestion list if given the choice. But, sometimes, we don’t fancy playing tumbling monkeys four times in a row.DAD: Well I’m not sure about the vampire bit, but you’re right, the animals aren’t the same at all, but the sounds in their names are. ’Bat’ and ’cat’. See? Oh, I’ve another one. ’Cat’ and ’fat’. Fat cat! Why don’t you all look around and see if you can find words that rhyme? DAD: Well, the rhyming game is a great game that teaches us to listen carefully to sounds. The challenge is to find two words that sound really alike, like cat… and bat!
