As promised on my Facebook page I wanted to share with you some teaching ideas for using the fantastic picture book ‘The Night of the Gargoyles’ written by Eve Bunting and illustrated by David Weisner. Although I enjoyed the illustrations and thought they fitted the story well, they potentially would not aid children in staying engaged with the text as they read.
