My Best Friend, Holy Spirit

Today’s blog post is an excerpt from my new ebook, Who Is the Holy Spirit: How You Can Hear From Him. When people say they don’t have any friends, I encourage them to come to a meeting, eat with people, talk with them and invite them over. I remember the very day that I met Him oh it was such a wonderful and emotional day … just like I said before this is personal but I ought to share it with you. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. And in 1 Peter 1:18,19 redemption is always through His blood, also in Col 1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, from His death.

Ephesians 1:7 states, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace". However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come” (Jn. He manifests His fruit in us as we abide in Christ, giving us the will to obey (Gal 5:22-23; 2 Tim 1:7; Phil 2:13). It’s daily bread, but very often we just leave it out there on the ground like manna that was provided but never picked up.

There’s another level at which He comforts and encourages as a companion; that’s the best part of our relationship with Him. God the Father and the Son sent the Holy Spirit, “another Comforter,” to take the place of Jesus on this earth.

What an immense joy and consolation it is, we repeat, for us to know that the Holy Spirit is really, truly and personally in our souls. He fills us, giving us life, strength, hope, and freedom (Rom 8:2, 6, 13; Rom 15:13; Eph 5:18; 2 Cor 3:17).

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. Without the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, you would never have seen your need for the Savior. The pronouncement from Jesus told us his Father would send a new Advocate in his place that we would not be alone.
