About this deal

two stars because this book felt repetitive and some things made me dislike Nikki even more as a spoiled, self-centered person. I admit it was predictable, so predictable that she mentioned one sentence and I was able to skip to the next few pages to confirm exactly what I had thought would happen. I liked of when Nikki had a nigtmare about her party because it was funny and it made me exaggerated.

I haven't read this latest book yet, but five stars already ✌because I am pretty confident that it would not let my expectations down🙃. The next day, while working on the party invitations, her friends brought really cute invite cards, with over 100 people being invited! If Nikki and her friends made it through a book without miscommunication causing all sorts of problems I’d be shocked. Dork Diaries Tales from a not so Happy Birthday by Rachel Renee Russell is about a girl named Nikki Maxwell and her and her friends Chole and Zoey want to throw a HUGE party for Nikki.

Her invitations really caused a whole part to how she must have a birth day party and her friends always interupt. Instead of posting an advice letter here in my ASK NIKKI column, I've decided to share another fun PARTY activity. This book falls into the contemporary realistic fiction because of the story is realistic for a young girl who is planning a birthday party in today's day and times. Nikki and her friends find the cards, but bumped into a man and lost the invitations with all the mail. Nikki asks her mom if she can have the party, but her mom says that she planned a 100 dollar party, which is way cheaper.

Back home, while Nikki was making letters to tell the guests that the party was unfortunately canceled, Brianna offers Nikki money to make a site for her business. An like with her first 7 books and the 9th book I feel like Russell did great with them and everything was amazing but. Nikki tried to bring Brianna back home, but she wouldn’t listen to and neither would the other people.Chloe, Zoey and Brandon have proven their loyalty time and time again, yet Nikki still questions their friendship and deliberately keeps things from them. I had really low expectations, compared to how much I squealed when they revealed the last book's cover. What I feel is that in this book, Andrea might develop a crush on Nikki 😋and this might lead to a grudge between Brandon and him. She’s got a loving family and friends and used to have cute little dramas at school that pretty much anyone could relate to.

In Part 2, Nikki and her BFFs Chloe and Zoey read a party planning book for really cool birthday party ideas. She went downstairs and found a mess in the kitchen from Brianna cooking with her sugarplum baking kit. As always, Russell delivers a funny yet plot-twisting story, geared toward children and young teens. Nikki gets as birthday present a new bicycle, replacing her old one that she mentioned in Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Graceful Ice Princess. Everything worked out almost perfectly in the end and that's the kind of ending that makes me come back to this series over and over again.

Instead of renting a DJ, her mom suggested that they rent their neighbors who are a belly dancing group. Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Happy-Birthday, also known as Birthday Drama, is the 13th book in the Dork Diaries series.

Meanwhile her rascal little sister Brianna becomes obsessed with baking and even starts up a little dog treat business with Nikki's help as it benefits her and funds her dream as we discover! She ran to the dog park to see if Brianna was there and all Nikki could see is a big group of people. I mean half the pages were just pictures so you could at least try a little harder on the few parts that were actual writing. Nikki watched as MacKenzie and her mom take out their expensive water bottles, expensive yoga mats, and expensive yoga bags. The latest fictional novel by the Rachel Renee Russell’s ”Dork Diaries” is Tales from a NOT-SO-Happy Birthday, which is thirteenth in the series. So, um, despite my expectations, I soon found myself laughing and crying at Nikki's "dorkiness" and the strange antics of Miss Bri-Bri, the hero of the story. This book is such an incredible book and has to be one of my favourites from the dork diaries collection seeing that I’ve now finally read each and every one of them! sorry Rachel Renee Russell but I feel like you just typed some random crap on a page and hoped for the best. From “Backyard Picnic”, “Movie Night Pajama Party”, “Music Lover’s Listen Party”, to a random “Scream Fest”! Nikki doesn’t particularly enjoy spending time with her mother, but today, she accepts the invitation to go to Yoga class.
