I already know that this series is going to be right next EL and that I won’t be able to pick a favorite. Port Black - a dark and sinister city abandoned to The Exiled, a gang of unhinged and psychotic demons who have claimed it as their own. I loved this story so much it completely sucked me in the writing was just so darn good the world building the overall story the characters I loved Palmer and her guys even the side characters were so intriguing down to the ghost who’s following Palmer around to her little sidekick a squirrel that’s half dead and is named Snake I laughed so hard at all the banter especially between the guys and the steam the SMEXY TIMES!

Have a big soft spot for Misha ATM but that may be because we've spent a lot of time with him in this book. These characters were introduced in The Magic of Eternity , but it is not necessary to listen to this before diving into Port Black. Demons in My Bed is deliciously darker than Emerald lakes with its gritty tone, seggs club, and rival gang themes, all wrapped up in fast paced action. Finding myself back in Besmet with the demon from my dreams, I’m finding it hard to deny the connection I feel toward him, despite the fact that he’s certifiably insane. The mouth on this man (honestly on all of them, again save for Rhodes) I was ready to volunteer as tribute.I loved how they were all super different from each other and how many different activities they included. She tries to bring her humor across in her words, hoping to make every reader laugh out loud in public at least once, trust us, she'll get you when you least suspect it. However, it doesn't take long for Palmer to see that these powerful Demons have more to them, lurking just under the surface of their dangerous and violent acts. I have a suspicion there's something about Palmer we have to learn - mainly due to fact that two of the demons almost knotted with her which doesn't happen unless they're with mate material.

I needed the comfort of a familiar book this week and I'm glad I chose the audio of Demons in My Bed. Learning about Palmers history aswell is not a nice read, especially as the book goes on and can only hope that the trouble stirrers don't get their way!
