About this deal

They're in this government advanced school that nurtures students to support the country in the future. I would say that the span of the light novel is rather long for one event that was already covered in 2 episodes of anime. In other words, placements aren’t determined by objective measures like academics or athletic achievements, but through narrative contrivance. I’m pretty lenient about cursing and sex jokes, but please don’t post comments that attack others, especially on the basis of their gender/ethnicity/sexual orientation, etc.

Because there was a sense of urgency – students not wanting to fail, students who used up their entire allowance – the story picked up the pace and became more enjoyable. Apart from bad characters, the story itself takes forever to get going and once it does, it takes a single step forward and the book’s over.A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. He runs into Horikita and the two talk for a while about the peculiarity of the school and the rule system. Sudou has a point when he says that academics are of no use to him, but the world demands this arbitrary knowledge of him anyway. Hirata contests this for a bit, but it is an unchanging fact that they have lost all of their points.

After a while of talking, the conversation shifts to stopping the poor behaviours that lost the class points in the first place. She also reveals that only students in Class A are guaranteed the 100% post-high school education and employment guarantee that Advanced Nurturing High School promises their students, which Teruhiko Yukimura protests about. In fact, I’d go as far to say that I was emotionally moved by the story told in these first two volumes, in a way that I didn’t expect at all.

The three of them talk for a little bit until Sudō and Horikita get into an argument which causes Horikita to lose interest and leave. Kikyo apologizes to Kiyotaka as Horikita might start hating him due to his role in the plan, but Kiyotaka waves it off, saying that he wanted Horikita to consider the benefits of friendship.

The author even demonstrates this with the text that commences a chapter within this section – “Thank you for your continued patience, reader. literally finding myself interested in the light novel now and contemplating whether i should continue 👀. While I had some definite issues with this novel it ended up being surprisingly compelling all the same. For instance, because we hear his inner voice, we're told that he has a lot of insecurities about not being able to make friends, yet he constantly behaves like a sociopath. The class’s casual cruelty manifested in inaction rather than outright bullying, and in a way that’s just as bad. I believe that Classroom of the Elite is a story about finding the catharsis that a real school doesn’t actually give you. The Class C students depart after her threat to get teachers involved and she, herself, departs shortly afterwards.
