About this deal

Maybe I’m crazy but this smells exactly like when you first walk in to the movie theater and you can smell clean air and buttery popcorn. Really wanted to love this for the fresh citrusy opening but the clunky shift and jerk into tenacious Amberwood overload in the dry down ruined this one for me. I got a sample of this fragrance and I’m so glad I did, the opening is very fresh perhaps a bit too harsh but it doesn’t bother me. Boasting a robust melody of aromatic notes, coupled with a sustained, mildly pungent presence, Light Blue Intense should be in your rotation of cologne. This is a must have in all guys collection, I promise you that this one doesn't go wrong on the summer.

Almost perfect this perfume is very different from other options like Profondo and Ultra Blue Explorer( those are more intense ). Almost gives me a feeling like I want to hold my breath and cough it out as if I had some dust in my lungs. I could walk to the sea and grab some water, distill it, add some alcohol, a bit of grape juice and I’d pretty much get the same thing. Nonetheless, the citrus does tamper down a bit towards the end, and the marine notes are able to smell much more oceanic. In reality, the sillage that makes it to my nose lasts about 2 hours tops, otherwise I need to sniff a few inches away from where I sprayed to pick anything up for that last hour.

The velvety box, reminiscent of the original, and the bottle's shape with its striking "light blue" hue evokes a sense of refined elegance and summery allure.

If you like blue generic fragrances just for the sake of smelling good, with a bit more longevity, this one's for you. To me, it smells like a mixture of Eau Intense and Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Parfum, which is an excellent combination for my tastes.Seasonally, once again it is mainly for spring/summer, but like the original it can be worn year round without any issue. I think this would be perfect if it had a bit of sweetness to it, like a bit of vanilla, but maybe I just like gourmands. The blend of citruses with sea notes and herbal tones makes this a supremely appealing clean and vibrant scent for all occasions. I have found that it can actually improve performances of weaker fragrances by boosting some of the notes.

I’m not a fragrance veteran by any means but I can’t say that scents like cool water or Dylan blue make me picture being on a beach quite like this scent. The dry down retains it's saline opening but with juniper, musk, and a vague woody note to complete the fragrance. The muskyness and woodiness is more pronounced near the end of the scent (5-6 hours), and gives it some dimensionality that keeps me coming back to it. I enjoyed whiffing this several times over its quarter day or more longevity, and I know it left a trail! New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .We're proud to announce that our mailing bags are made from recycled polythene and are also recyclable, and our bubble wrap is made from recycled plastic and is completely recyclable. It opens with a rush of salty sea water and juicy grapefruit, accompanied by a touch of green juniper and mandarin; all enveloped around a musky base.

I personally don't get the egg scent they speak of, nor rotten fish but i can understand where they are getting that idea from and it took a while for me to get over that. Opening smells like toilet water/ocean and same on skin, This is a fragrance that is WONDERFUL more than 1 foot away, very aromatic, must wear on warm summer days cant be too cold or too hot, it can become very suffocating, DO NOT wear this in a hot vehicle you will kill everyone. An "amberwood" accord which is definitely that scratchy ambroxide/norlimbanol combo made famous by Dior Sauvage (2015) comprises the base, but rounded with white laundry musk and shined with Iso E Super into a less-jarring warmth. It takes the now popular aquatic Light Blue, with its delightful salty sea and citrus-musk quality, and gives you a very masculine, deepened experience that eclipses the original.

If you layer it with Light Blue however, instead of having an extremely oceanic smell, what happens is it boosts the notes of the weaker fragrance to the point that they actually compliment each other so much that the strong oceanic scent is not stealing the attention.
