About this deal

Factory has recorded four very good interviews that it recently shot and have included these on the first disc. There is also better detailing visible in the clouds or in pretty much all daylight exteriors, and metallic surfaces have a more realistic shine to them, such as the scene with Peter and Roger hauling the trucks in front of the entrances. Snyder has a few other fun cameos in the film, even interjecting famous horror director/actor Tom Savini as a tough as nails town Sheriff . Our would-be heroes are not so much trapped inside the mall as they are finding refuge or building a false sense of security by surrounding themselves in material goods. opted to not up-mix to a Dolby Atmos presentation, the included audio track is top-notch and sounds terrific throughout.

NEW Zombies and Bikers – With John Amplas, Roy Frumkes, Tom Savini, Christine Forrest, Tom Dubensky, Tony Buba, Taso Stavrakis and a whole host of zombies and bikers! Intense, blood soaked, and a thrill ride from beginning to end, I still enjoy it as much as, if not more, than the Romero original. It treads a lot of the same ground as the other features but it’s nice to have Romero alone talking about the film.It might make a decent future double-bill Blu-Ray project with the UK 1981 Intervision VHS release of Vigilante; another similar film which I do like.

George A Romero's Dawn of the Dead remains one of the greatest horror films ever made, often imitated but never equalled, and is now presented in a brand-new restoration. Though again seeing a group of people holed up in a bid to survive the onslaught outside, the tone and scope is very different. Additionally, these two HDR presentations benefit from the improved brightness levels, showering nearly every scene with inky, raven blacks. The only thing that that the survivors can possibly do is make an escape plan to get out of the surrounded mall, grab as much supplies as they can, and somehow make it out a boat where they can try to escape the virus fallout zone and hopefully find land where they are safe. We’re proud to promote an environment that allows for discourse benefiting everyone (newcomers to the experienced) and owners of all levels of gear (affordable to the high-end) while encouraging open and friendly conversation. Ving Rhames is the hulking beast of a man who wants to get things done, while Ty Burrell is pure and utter self centered evil.

Being a horror fan, he'd been to a number of conventions in London where VHS bootlegs of uncut Nasties were freely available. The release date got pushed back a couple of times after an early tease, so the film’s many fans have been chomping at the bit for this for a long time.It certainly sounds like a great project to have been involved in – actor Ken Foree (who plays Peter) is particularly enthusiastic in his recollections, while Savini tellingly states that afterwards "life was so boring compared to being on the set of Dawn of the Dead. I just watched the theatrical cut all the way through and caught glimpses of the others while I listened to their commentaries. Even though he doesn’t stick to the more methodical stylings of Romero, Carpenter, or Argento, Snyder still pays homage to the previously mentioned artists by interjecting in several hints and nods through various scenes and musical choices. We hope you’ll join us in our goal of building a strong community of like-minded enthusiast who have chosen to post with civility and in the spirit of uplifting others.
