This is a 40% spiced rum, and it's actually quite expensive for the spiced rums that I've been doing. Then, added to that, is very little, to no sugar at all, so quite the opposite to a lot of spiced rums. There are round notes of coffee and cacao as well as the traditional spices found it spiced rum (nutmeg, ginger etc) great for cocktails, mixers and even sipping. This rum is marked by the casks with a bit of orange, but the chocolate notes outshines the most of it. New Grove Honey Liqueur has been blended with New Grove Plantation traditional rum and is composed entirely of sugar cane spirits infused with the natural essence of honey from the island of Rodrigues.

On the nose, Black Tears entices with a captivating aroma of baking spices, prominently featuring cinnamon and nutmeg, accompanied by earthy notes reminiscent of freshly brewed coffee beans. Agwa’s key ingredients are Bolivian coca leaves, Brazilian guarana and Chinese ginseng which work together to offer a herbal, minty scent followed by a thick, syrupy mouthfeel awash with spicy notes, sweet menthol and the depth of the herbaceous ingredients.It's very much pronounced, that I'm, oh, the aftertaste, I'm getting a little bit of pepper on there, coming down now.
