About this deal

I've heard some say this is merely repackaged Gold, and it may be, but I am yet to shoot any Gold so couldn't compare. Fuji is one of the most famous Japanese global brands - and along with Eastman Kodak - dominated the film photography market for most of the 20th century. Designed for versatility and ease of use, the multi- purpose Superia 200 is an all-around Film perfect for outdoors, or indoors with flash. Instead of degrading it for not being a special colour negative film like a Kodak Ektar 100 or a Portra 400, I like to recognise it for what it is. The fine grain structure and high degree sharpness are well-suited to scanning and enlarging for printing purposes.

This will be enforced by the warehouse team - apologies in advance for any inconvenience, this will be lifted as soon as the global supply chain settles down. Of course I fear that it will not be that good, compared to modern ~16mm lenses … but it’s such an interesting lens that I would like to learn more about it. Of course, I wouldn’t leave it in direct sunlight or next to my oven either, but keeping it in a cool, dry cupboard for the relatively short time you have it should suffice. The grain on this film is very apparent, so not great for detailed shots, however it can really add that vintage, washed out look for portraits. However, we’re all special in our own way, and I think a case could be made for C200 actually being special too. Fujifilm 200 features vivid colour, particularly reds, blues and yellows, high sharpness and fine grain you might expect from a 100 ISO film with natural skin tones. Fuji are doing splendid work keeping us dedicated film photographers supplied with an excellent colour print film at a reasonable cost. This was one of the first consumer films I ever tried over the pandemic, and it has a very different feel to Kodak films.

We use Royal Mail for the majority of our consignments aside from large and oversized items which many come via an alternative carrier. This Fuji 200 Film the ideal choice for superb natural-looking portraits or for just enjoying your analog photography shoots. Equally excellent for people shots, capturing skin tones naturally and beautifully, C200 delivers an image sharpness that many 100 ISO films find hard to equal. That ISO 200 rating is good too, freeing you up to shoot in slightly worse light than you could with the Industrial 100, or any ISO 100 film for that matter. Most of that feedback was constructive and helpful, so I thank all of you who sent me comments about that comparison.Fujifilm 200 is a 200-speed colour film, forgiving with highlights and known for providing reliable results across different lighting situations. That being said, because of it's love of reds to yellows, it works superbly well for sunset photography and the richness of its greens mean it's ideal for foliage photography. Camera Centre UK Ltd trading as Camera Centre UK is a credit broker and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. A few of the more boutique films I’ve reviewed on here are synonymous with specific types of photography; either by design or by how the herd has taken to shooting them. It’s a great starting point when you first get into shooting film and should help you get to grips with some of the essentials.
