About this deal

Play is fast and lively, and demands attention to the cards being played by others as well as one's own cards.

Not a game for those who are precious about their games, Ligretto is a fast paced card shedding game where the cards will end up flying everywhere and at the very least suffer the odd crease as you’re bound to clash hands with opponents at some point. The game completes when a player discards all cards from their Stack pile and declares "Ligretto stop!

A pile is complete when the '10' card is played on top, after which no cards can be played on that pile. If they have a 2 card of the same colour as any 1 in the centre of the table, they can place the 2 card on the 1. Add a second different colour box and up to eight can play, add the third and now twelve players can compete. Each player deal out their own deck by shuffling their cards and place ten cards face up on the table to form a "Stack. As our friends own the red copy so as a group we can play with eight, but I think the most we’ve actually played at is seven and that was crazy, bonkers, awesome!

The round ends as soon as one player's ligretto stack is emptied and the player shouts "ligretto stop! As things become more competitive, or with large numbers of players, inevitably players will stand and jostle for position to access the played cards in the middle of the table.

The game in its current form was designed by Michael Michaels and published in 1988 by the German company Rosengarten Spiele. Tarda més a arribar del que diuen quan fas la comanda però pots anar fent seguiment del paquet xq l’enviament a Espanya és amb correos.

Thanks to the simple game principle, the whole family can try their luck and compete in this lively dice game. Each player tries to roll the correct numbers with his coloured dice so that they can be placed on the board. The need to get the stack emptied, the fear of double negative points and the frenetic simultaneous play ensures players feel under pressure to do well. Players create shared piles of cards from 1-10 in the centre of the table in any of the four coloured suits.

You’ll be trawling though your cards trying to get rid of as many as possible by creating communal piles of colours starting with the lowest number first.
