About this deal

Also felt like when the saucy bits started the story was put on a back burner a bit, and it was just scene after scene, which do not get me wrong, I loved those scenes, it just felt as though there were things that I would have loved to hear more about and that could have helped to give more depth to stuff. If you're interested in pure smut and almost no story or character development, then this is probably for you.

It also screened at the 2022 New York Film Festival, [4] where it was the festival's centerpiece film and for which Goldin designed two official posters.

The spicy scenes were pretty hot, however the voice acting of these narrators was a bit cringy and overdramatized for me to say the least. Vampire Diaries meets Daughter of the Moon in Year Three: Bloodshed Academy, a steamy academy romance story for listeners who love snark and strong alphas. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is a 2022 American biographical documentary film about photographer, artist, and activist Nan Goldin. These biographical elements include the suicide of Goldin's sister, Goldin's drug use and her sex work activities, which she had never previously publicized, as well as her art career and achievements. I feel like I need a stiff drink and possibly a cigarette after listening to this🥃 Those sound effects are something else!

Then we got a synopsis and rerun of scream for us with a different pov that added no depth or character understanding. Goldin then approached the film's production company about turning the footage into a film, and Laura Poitras was suggested to Goldin to direct the film, based on Poitras's work on Astro Noise for the Whitney Museum. Athens International Film Festival: Stranger than Fiction International Documentaries Competition Awards". As much as it claims to be a “no plot just smut” book, Bloodshed introduces some interesting plot lines and I actually want to know who is who and what the hell is happening. yeah i’d prolly only go back for the spicy scenes, other than that nah; overall an underwhelming but easy read. Whereas Damien's backstory was made to seem super intense and extreme just for the sake of him being the most 'tortured' one, oh boo hoo. I was pleasantly surprised that there where more than 2 narrators and that made all of this so much more better and interesting and so good.
