I didn't bother reading the instructions, since they're just a toy, so I'm not sure whether this is supposed to happen. The amperage output of the adapter is not forced and as such this adapter is safe to use on devices that require less amperage. A real bonus is that they are rechargeable and come with a convenient charger cradle that hold both hand sets. LOL, I was lucky enough to have a go on a real Theremin in the Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

The sound quality is very good as well, we have tested them for up to 2 km range and there were no noises or breaking up. One thing it doesn't seem to mention in the manual - is it OK to leave them on the charger permanently? I’ve tried different batteries, tried the different charging points, checking the batteries, swapping the batteries that do work into the handset but it doesn’t seem to be working. They feel well made (they look as if they could take being dropped by kids) and the belt clip is secure.You may have to change channels a few times to avoid picking up local mini-cabs but there are 10 channels so not a problem.
