very interesting Map , basicaly an OS map with historic / prehistoric sites marked , i wanted it to check out potental interesting sites where we are going on holiday and near the route . What I have found is that I have spent a great deal of time studying this map and its fascinating historical information. Each archaeological period is identified using different symbols and colours to show sites from the Stone Age through to the early Middle Ages against a modern map base, double-sided to cover the whole country. Map, mounted on cloth, is in very good condition; also bound in is a 36pp Foreword, Introduction and COmbined Index to North and South Sheets which is tanned with some spotting; card cover rather tanned with some marks and shelfwear.
