Overall what I get is a beautiful rose-oud-patchouli scent that gets darker and richer the longer it's on the skin. I could still smell this after 18 hours (albeit close to the skin by that point) But the original Chanel CM lasted about 6-8 hrs on me and it's re formulation only lasted a miserable 2-3 hours. This would be incredible for that girl rocking a black wedding dress, a girl who doesn't mind dominating in the bedroom, or for a sexy/date night.

The first spray opens with dark spicy rose, patchouli, unsweetened vanilla, saffron, and a wood I couldn’t quite identify. Both of my Club de Nuits are newer batches which may need to macerate and/or may not last as long as some other wearers report. First impression, it was intense and left a masculine woodsy vibe, after about 5 minutes it was a softer, more feminine vibe.

Heard so much that Club de Nuit is a dupe for Coco Mademoiselle so I blind bought it as it is very affordable. This is for the girl who likes uniqueness,who likes something different, and who wants to stand out. But do not believe my opinion because I am a migraine woman that very sensitive to all kind of strong smell.It opens as a bit of a bolder and darker spicy rose, but swiftly dries down to a sweet and soft powdery vanilla with a whisper of oud on my skin.

I initially meet this beautiful jammy rose accord (that almost translates to a black cherry-like note) that is then immediately darkened by the patchouli and oud notes. There is a still a bit of darkness, but it seems like these "dark" smelling molecules evaporated as I was frequently opening the sample.Club De Nuit comes off more mature and it is a going out scent to dinner, it is very potent so 2-3 sprays is enough. Whereas that is warm and somewhat sweet, this is clean and citrusy but you can still smell the similarities between them. This is a scent for those cold, enigmatic evenings when you want to leave an unforgettable impression. CDNIW also shares some similarities with Velvet Rouge by Jason Wu (which is greener, spicier, bolder) and Agent Provocateur (which more musky, sharp, metallic).
