About this deal

Glenmorangie was originally started as a farm brewery, which might surprise you given their reputation for fine whisky today. Known as the Distillers of Tain, this brand has crafted their beverages for 175 years, and the taste now is one that is both fruity and delicate. The copper stills in which Glenmorangie whisky is distilled are the tallest in Scotland and produce a deeper flavour and aroma that is instantly recognisable as the brand's signature. Each and every Member must be of legal drinking age in its country of residence to be allowed to use the Service. If no such law exists in a Member’s country of residence, the Member has to be over 21 years old to use the Service. We have the right to ask you to provide proof of your age and/or to provide further identification to prevent underage usage and/or for any other legal or legitimate purpose. By using the Service, and by creating an account you represent, warrant and confirm that you are of legal age. For those who aren’t Glenmo lovers, this gives folks something other than the usual bright and fruity whisky. It’s something deeper and darker to sink into and that has an appeal to a certain group of drinkers. Though no matter how you feel about Glenmo, and even if you hate this, I think we can all agree on the Glenmorangie Signet being one of the most unique whiskies/profiles in the world of Scotch. Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and earned a score of 95 points from Wine Enthusiast. In addition, it earned the Best Single Malt Scotch (no age statement) Trophy at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2013. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice through Glenmorangie's copper-pot stills by a team of 16 distillers known as the Sixteen Men of Tain. Glenmorangie's stills are equipped with relatively small boiler pots, which increases the exposure of the whisky to the copper, resulting in a more pure flavor. In addition, the stills are nearly seventeen feet tall — the tallest of any distillery in Scotland — and as a result, produce a lighter, more refined whisky.

There’s no right or wrong way to drink whisky. As long as you enjoy it, that’s all that matters. But there are some techniques that can heighten the experience of drinking whisky, making it even more pleasurable. We may sell, license, transfer, assign or in any other way dispose of the Service (including Members) to any third party without any notification to you, e.g. (but without limitation) in connection with any reorganization, restructuring, merger or sale, or other transfer of assets. It is more than just a whisky; it’s an adventure—a journey through Scotland’s rich heritage encapsulated in every bottle. Glenmorangie promises a taste that lingers memorably on your tongue. Glenmorangie, renowned for its intricate whiskies, attributes its hallmark character to the meticulous use of only the finest oak casks during maturation. These casks are utilized a maximum of twice, ensuring the extraction of optimal flavor and contributing to a well-rounded finish, whereas other distilleries might reuse them up to six times. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect.Roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla, dark fruit leather, Dots, tropical fruit, orchard fruit, lemon zest and spice with a touch of oak and cereal sweetness The Glenmorangie distillery creates beautiful single malt products that are some of the finest in Scotland. The water from the surrounding Tarlogie Spring is rich in minerals, making it perfect to use for whisky-making, as it adds whole new notes of depth to the make-up of the alcohol. The hard work paid off, as the Signet won Whisky of the Year in the same year as Lumsden was named Master Distiller of the Year at the 2016 International Whisky Competition. Now take a sip. ‘Savour the flavour’ by taking your time and allowing the whisky to roll over your palate for a good ten seconds, before allowing it to slip smoothly down.‘ The Biggest Offer On Flight Glenmorangie Alcohol Content

A connoisseur will use a special kind of glass for ‘nosing’ a whisky, called a ‘ snifter’. It is a glass with a stem, where the aperture is narrower than the bowl in which the whisky lies. This serves to concentrate the vapour and make the aroma more intense.) The Signet was distilled twice through Glenmorangie's copper-pot stills, by a team of 16 distillers known as the 'Sixteen Men of Tain'. It was subsequently matured in bespoke American virgin oak casks before it was bottled at 46%, and received no chill-filtration.If we decide not to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms, such decision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Cocoa, vanilla, butterscotch, dark fruit leather, malt, Dots, tropical fruit, orchard fruit, citrus peels and spice. Glenmorangie Signet is their ultra-premium core release. It uses a high amount of chocolate malt, is only distilled once a year and the cask management to create it is quite involved. The notes I have from a deeply nerdy tasting says it goes something like this. It’s not what you typically think of when you think Glenmorangie, and I think that’s why Signet has such a huge following both within the hardcore Glenmo fans and the larger whisky-loving audience. For Glenmo lovers like myself, the Signet shows us more facets of what can come out of the distillery when the malt and casks are changed up; a drinkable glimpse into an alternate reality.
