Today, speedcubing is quite popular, so there are many manufacturers and brands – and in most cases, the best manufacturers come from China, where speedcubing is very widespread among all generations. It has both enthralled and tormented generations, allowing some to grandstand in the playground while others are forced to admit defeat in the face of a seemingly intractable puzzle. Most users believe that magnetic speedcubes can somewhat improve the performance – because they affect the position of the cube they hold in a flat position making it easier to rotate the components of the cube.

The final cube allows both regular Rubik’s cube movements, but also allows for the player to cheat and reassemble it without having to throw it forcefully against the wall first like the original toy.
