About this deal

WARNING: Incorrectly modifying the Windows registry can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. This script is designed to update the Windows registry safely, however, continue at your own risk. Moreover, the advanced CH Control Manager software allows for highly customizable control over your flight simulation setup, from programming macros to assigning buttons, making the gaming experience even more immersive and tailored to your needs. The dimensions are comfortably compact, and the form factor is lightweight enough to move around yet sturdy enough not to slide during intense gaming sessions.

Visually, the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder is very different from the other pedals. It departs significantly from the traditional flat layout most pedals exhibit and instead chooses to prominently display the "PENDUL_R" mechanism — and no, that's not a typo. PENDUL_R refers to the rudder pedal arms that hang from the top of the device. If money ain't an issue and you're looking for the best pair of pedals that money can buy, look no further than the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder Pedals. This 100% metal structure weighs in at over 15 pounds, with a heavy base plate that provides ample stability. The Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder Pedals comes with their H.E.A.R.T technology, or HallEffect AccuRate Technology (I told you Thrustmaster loves acronyms). What that means is that features like 3D Hall effect magnetic sensors ensure ultra-precise, frictionless action that will not wear away over time. I use to have one of those chair mats and was never fond of it. But I may just have to do that. Thanks! All is not well for Logitech’s offering, however, as the set of rudder pedals has its fair share of shortcomings. For starters, it has a dead spot around the center: nothing too major but definitely noticeable. Secondly, the range on the brakes is underwhelming. Logitech’s rudders have less brake range than Thrustmaster TFRP pedals which are roughly 40 dollars cheaper.

One strange omission from this set is the ability to adjust the tension. While the default tension is fine, it's definitely something to keep in mind for those who want complete control over their simulation equipment. Thrustmaster also offers calibration software to customize the TFRP's performance. You can adjust the TFRP to change where the dead zones are, or eliminate them altogether. You can also alter these settings separately for each axis of movement.

My Logitech throttle quadrant and my Thrustmaster rudder pedals plug into the Logitech yoke system... The rudder allows for a wide range of foot placements, depending on the user’s preference. You can either rest your entire foot on the pedal or simply rest the ball of your foot mid-pedal. In both cases, the controls remained highly responsive. During our test flights, we appreciated the self-centering rudder axis, providing a nice balance between smoothness and resistance. It allowed for precise maneuvers, adding a touch of realism to the flight experience. Among other features, Logitech’s rudders offer differential brakingand a self-centering mechanism. While the former allows greater control over the plane, the latter centers the pedals when no force is being applied. Although I find both these features very desirable, it is pertinent to mention that the self-centering mechanism ensures you are always pushing against some tension. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but it tends to divide opinions. For example... there are settings for “throttle 90%”... “full throttle 1”... etc. just a thought.

Take to the skies and experience the joy of flight in the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator, at its best on Logitech G flight equipment. Travel the world in amazing detail with over 37 thousand airports, 2 million cities, 1.5 billion buildings, real mountains, roads, trees, rivers, animals, traffic, and more. Test your piloting skills against the challenges of night flying, real-time atmospheric simulation, and live weather in a dynamic and living world. Rudder pedals are a crucial part of a flight simulator setup. They allow the pilot to control the aircraft’s yaw and brakes, providing a more immersive and realistic flying experience.Same issues as well. Flying B350 using my brand new Logitech/Saitek rudder pedals. Have played with sensitivity settings a bit, trying to make them more tolerant. Taxiing works relatively fine, although after some point the pedals seem to have an exponential effect. I believe I can further fine tune this in settings.
