About this deal

My only negative is that we don’t have tons of space so had to do the puzzle and take it apart on the same day.

And eliminating plastic on the outside of the box, as well as inside, gets two thumbs up from me and my gaming group. Watching the craziness unfold amidst the shelves and stacks of books is fun, and definitely nothing like my local library! You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie Preferences, as described in the Cookie Notice. But luckily there’s a solution and a copy of the complete picture in black and white identifying all the individual riddle images if you really need a helping hand too. If you are looking for a jigsaw that is also a game and you like books then please treat yourself to this one.Something you have had out on your table for a while, reaches it's magnificent ending, and then, boom. Some are far easier to guess than others, but before you can do any of this, you need to put the puzzle together. Once you have solved the picture and marvelled at all the details you can see, you then have to piece together 101 book titles from the characters and events going on in the library!

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.Again, like the others in the series, they’re designed for an older crowd that our 8 year old, but he is a fiend at the piecing together stage. I promise this is not going to spoil your enjoyment of the rest of the jigsaw but it will give you a taste of what is to come. But others will take a while for you to figure out, depending on your knowledge of classic and popular fiction!

Slight criticism of a few pieces getting very wedged together but I guess that can happen to any puzzle! With 1000 pieces it’s a difficult puzzle to build but the challenge has only just begun once you slot the last piece into place. This gets an A* from me, there were no accidental placements and it was relatively easy to distinguish the shape you were looking for. As such, it stayed on the puzzle board a lot longer than most, and I’m tempted to keep it and frame it as really is a brilliant piece of art underneath all the riddling fun! But I really enjoyed doing this jigsaw and I think I’d enjoy it again, although I have a few book-worm pals who will absolutely love to get themselves knee deep in this one, so I will pass on the love. Plus, the way his fresh mind and imagination works, he was able to “see” things that us older puzzlers missed or disregarded. The palette is quite understated – lots of oranges, reds, yellows, and browns, but that feels quite relaxing. Great fun to piece together and actually gives a good post puzzle task of guessing all the book titles. The only down side is mine was missing four pieces, a shame as I was going to pass it on but feel with i can not with missing parts. TIME FOR AN EPILOGUE: Once you’ve finished building this literary puzzle, use the checklist to make sure you’ve found every single book. I decided to challenge myself and complete this in one sitting, a noble task which I did achieve after 5 hours but that was a big effort. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.Mayhem in the Library is a combination of a traditional puzzle, a Where Wally/Waldo book, and a picture riddle quiz. Our 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles are music and movie themed, crammed full of your favourite bands and Hollywood hits. If you love games and puzzles like we do, I’d recommend Mayhem in the Library and the others in the series.
