In September 2023, Isaac Larian posted a teaser of upcoming Mini Bratz. In the picture, the display shows several new collections to be added to the Mini Bratz lineup, a new PDQ display that does not have repeats, and updated green capsules. Based off what has been revealed to be part of Mini Bratz Series 3 and what is left in the showroom display, Mini Bratz Series 4 will include scaled-down reproductions of: The Revolution x Bratz Limitless Palette is serving 27 head - turning shades including mattes, shimmers and foil finishes with the iconic ‘B’ embossed in some shades. Nostalgia never looked so good! In this case, I do believe the Bratz x Kylie dolls utilized the stamp method for the eyes and the spray method for the lips. While I wish the dolls were completely sprayed, I do not mind the use of the stamp method when the dolls look pretty. If the current Bratz roster is utilizing the stamp method, I think this is okay as long as the dolls look good; on that note, the Bratz x Kylie dolls are facially gorgeous aside from placement issues with some batches. THE HAIR There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out. In September 2023, Bratz released a new single titled “We’re The Bratz”—the theme song of their Alwayz Bratz series, which can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.The first in-box picture of Sasha and Cloe was revealed via an MGA employee’s LinkedIn on Halloween 2023. As someone who owns the original version of this playset, I have to admit that I love the reproduction much more! The original uses a darker faux fur fabric, while the reproduced version uses a baby pink faux fur fabric that feels more plush than its original counterpart. Some fans have noticed that the reproduction doesn’t come with all of the accessories that the original had—the pen, diary, and water bottle. I personally don’t mind that these accessories were omitted, especially if Slumber Party reproductions eventually come out because those will likely come with the pen and diary accessories. The chair is extra cute and can make a perfect addition to any doll or miniature collection—not just Bratz! I see the chair being sized well for other brands around Bratz size like L.O.L. Perhaps one of the most anticipated Bratz releases this year (or it was in my head, at least), the Mini Bratz dolls, playsets, and cosmetics are making their way to Target stores across the United States! The first display was found over a month ago, and Bratz fans—including myself—have gone feral since looking for them in their local Target stores since. I finally managed to find them last week at my local Target store and hit up some other Target stores in my area to find more, and even score an (empty) display box! Although I did not manage to get a full set of minis, I wanted to give y’all a detailed review with tons of pictures of the ones I did get! While this collaboration has been the topic of controversy, it has proven to be a celebrated release for Bratz and Kylie Jenner fans alike… but maybe not for the reasons you would think! Why is Series 3 being lauded as one of the biggest doll releases this season? Well, if you didn’t already know, MGA has been slowly reproducing and reintroducing beloved characters from the Bratz brand with their “Core Series” line since 2021’s 20 Yearz Special Edition collection consisting of the core four Bratz girls and Cameron in their debut fashion looks. The following year, fans were surprised to see reproductions of five secondary characters (Meygan, Kiana, Kumi, Nevra, and Dylan) from the brand’s prime years with the Series 2 collection. Now, almost nine months later, MGA has officially released their Series 3 lineup—Dana, Felicia, Tiana, Fianna, and Koby!
October 8: Kylie Jenner posts a behind-the-scenes video of her visiting MGA’s headquarters to YouTube. This doll was originally slated for a January 2024 release, then changed to December 2023. However, the doll was officially released in November 2023. May 13: Bratz posts an animated image of the core four in their television series outfits, with the date 8/31/23 on it—this may be possibly teasing something that will be released on August 31.
About the Bratz Collection
March 25: Bratz releases their animated music video for their Mowalola collaboration set to Miss N0vember’s “Lagos Bratz Doll”. There is no official product description yet. These are brand-new playline dolls of the core four based off artwork that was leaked earlier this year. The artwork was also featured at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo, and updated versions of this artwork were showcased at New York Toy Fair.
