The only bad part is that some of the songs on here could have been updated by newer, more recent hits. For example Busted's Sleeping With The Light On is long forgotten by now, but Crashed The Wedding is the current single.

So here we have stinkers (Sophie Ellis-Bextor, DSide, Phixx) and some pretty good stompers (S Club 8, Emma, Ultrabeat, Louise) and then the OK crowd (Girls Aloud, Atomic Kitten). There are a few artist who made their only series appearance on this volume, and these were Lumidee, Stacie Orrico, Phixx, D-Side, Mark Owen (as a solo artist), Joe Budden, Rishi Rich Project, Starsailor and Michael Andrews. Blue's Guilty is behind there and then some hip hop stuff is thrown in there, of course the good (Beyonce, Jamelia, Lumidee, Sugababes) and the not so good (Fatman Scoop, Liberty X, Javine). Richard X is such an excellent producer, him and William Orbit are my favourites of the early 00s for creating sounds that really stood out in the chart in the best kind of way.

Other highlights include "Mad World" by Michael Andrews, "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake and "Are You Ready for Love" by Elton John. maybe it's the video), Sleeping With The Light On, Four Minute Warning (genius song, the highlight of Mark Owen's solo career and would have made a great No. Really strong volume with very little filler - and a lot of my favourite pop singles of the decade on it to boot. My love of Ashanti at that time of my life was unreal, she was just such a babe and her music was so nice to listen to with those majestic vocals.
