Verdict: if you get all five classic sixties studio albums and all the tracks mentioned above, you'll have an unbeatably respectable Airplane collection. It also retains much of the original vinyl packaging (which was lavish in the extreme) and adds some new sleeve notes from the excellent John Tobler. However, it sounds as if the master tapes had been damaged on at least three songs, and significantly obvious on the introduction of "Silver Spoon".The release features an exact reproduction of the Grunt 1977 edition of the LP packaging including a reduced scale reproduction of the original booklet and inner sleeve jackets for the CDs.
